Today we heard that my dear sweet friend, Twix, is very sick and nobody knows what is causing it. Her sweet Mommy and Daddy are asking all of our help in finding the answers. Please real quick like, if you haven't already, go over to Trix's blog and see if any of your peeps might have idea what is happening. "Dearest Txix, Please try to eat, even it's just a little bit, you need to be strong to fight this nasty thing. We love you so much!!"
Well, we didn't get all that snow they said we was gonna get today. But we got worse. Lots of nasty "heavy ice". It's way to cold to stay outside very long and we been sleeping a lot. Mommy loves to see me and Weenie taking nappy naps in the computer room. We like to sleep in these positions--butt to head.
So what have we been doing all day? We been outside at least a 100 times
but just long enough to do our business. Then we run back in and want Mommy
to pick us up and snuggle. She's got a nice round belly and is very comfy to lie on.
Mommy has been watching westerns on TV most of the day, between naps that is.
Her back and knees have really been hurting so while she takes the cure (the heating pad), with one of us on each side, we watch a movie, then take a nap, then watch another movie, then take another nap....you get the picture.
Remember my rabbit, I been letting Weenie play with? Here's what's left of it.
He been operating on it. First he removed Mr Rabbit's heart, his squeaker, then his guts, one of his ears, and chewed a hole in his butt.
"But Mommy it's still got one ear left and two legs left. Surgery isn't over yet.
Can I please, please have it back? Sissy says it's OK!! It's all mine now!!
"Look what else my new sister let me have. Her yellow bug!!!

Weenie is so cute playing with toys, once he finds then, so Mommy let us pull a bunch of them out of my toy chest.
There is one thing I have made perfectly clear to Weenie.

OK.....One last thing before we have our dinner and watch another Western.
No snow but about 10:30 this morning we got a big surprise.
BANG!!

I ran to the front door with Mommy right behind me. This is what we saw
through the screen door when we opened the door.
Told ya the ice was heavy.
"Dang it"..... It was the only tree we had left. Mommy says had because
it's gonna be cut down now. Thank goodness it didn't hit the roof and we gots a back door. Can't lock it from the outside but we can still go outside.

Sorry bout your tree there, Mona! We had lots of ice round our house too! Our poor truck, Big Red, had to sleep outside last night, and my momma had to crack all da ice just to open da doors!!!
We mostly just hung out in da warm today too....watching my momma knit or browse around on da yaptop!

Sorry about the tree and all that ice, but how fun to see that Weenie likes to play with toys. We loved that pic of him staring so intently at your Mom's face - he must see something or else he is tuned in to her voice. He sure looks very comfortable there. Good girl, Mona - you are being so nice.
We are so hoping to hear some update about Twix. Paws crossed for good news.

We hope your weather is not too bad. Our area has been a mess. We are sorry to hear that your mom is hurting. Give her an extra snuggle from us ok Mona :)
ICE is the worst. People don't know how to drive on it and make things more dangerous for everyone else.

We like to tear up our toys, too! Good job Weenie! :) We're sorry about your tree. We had a branch come down this winter too... on Mom's trunk. Luckily it was a dead branch so it didn't make but a tiny dent. :) We're glad you didn't end up with snow. They're calling for snow again here on Thursday. We say a big yuck to that!
We think we should get to know Weenie. We both think he's a cutie!

Dear Mona,
We got your emailed this morning and mom is happy with your new plan!! We too are happy to know that we got Weenie as our big brother! Mom always wanted to foster care any dogs in need but due to limited space and her current condition now she no longer can help anyone in need after Jasmine.
We hope all the best for weenie and he looks cute and younger to me :)
