Hi my dear friends,
The Mommy is taking over my blog tonight to share a link to a YouTube slide show that my Uncle Ron did for DROH. Here is the link:

Did you recognise any of the doggies on the slide show? Uncle Ron has a lot of them (the adoptable ones) with him and my Aunt Deb in the country but some were adopted after DROH got them.
The Mommy......
Last month we had a lot of adoptions but there are always more to take their places. At the first of this month 4 puppies were found in a crate at a park in Pasadena. DROH got 2 of them. We also got 3 more this month for different reasons, one that was given up is understandable, one I don't know his story and the other was turned in to a shelter because the owners didn't know it would be THAT HARD, in their own words, to take care of a puppy. We will probably get the other 2 that were in the crate too.
Let me introduce the puppies......They are all on the receiving care list,
but hopefully will be moved to the ready for adoption list.
This is CARMELLA. She was given up because of allergies her owner had.

This is TOOTSIE. The puppy that was left at a shelter because puppies are to difficult to handle........their words not ours.
It would have been horrible if these little ones had been put down before DROH got them and that will never happen to these puppies but what about all the other puppies & adults we can't save. Again will it never end?

Oh, Carmela is so sweet looking! We just started getting involved with a dachshund rescue org. in AZ and fostered our first dog. I was heartbroken when he was adopted - I fell in love with him so fast (he was found on the highway and had been hit by a car). I am amazed at the excuses people give!

OMG Carmella is the little girly I would soooo adopt if I didn't have a houseful or in this case an apt full. I just love her little face!!!
how can anyone give up such adorable puppies. Mom would love them all!
Ohh.. Carmella is gorgoues, Chris is so adorable, the 2 sisters are so cute... I just don't understand how some humans can abandon those cuties. **sigh**
