THE BUBBLE BEE LECTURE

Hi friends,

My brudders & Me got the bubble bee lecture, every year after what happened the first spring we was with the Mommy, so since my brudders are gone, all my DWB friends get to have the lecture with me. Here goes.

BEAUTY

The good Lord in all his glory gave us flowers to brighten our lives & smell the wonders of nature.

But he also gave us the BEAST......the bubble bee.
Flowers & the nectar they carry are to bees what bones are to dogs.
The combination of bees, flowers & dogs is not a good thing. It spells TROUBLE!!
Not too long ago 4, yes 4, little boy doggies who liked to smell the roses found out why.

These were not the same flowers or bees that got your brothers but you get the picture.
What turned out to be a very relaxing spring afternoon in the sun turned out to be
a very painful day for 2 of yours brothers not to mention a scary and costly time for your Mommy. The point is, my dear Mona & your DWB friends, if you see bees flying around flowers....head the other way as fast as you can or you will get a stinger in your nose like Toby & Siskle did.
THE BEAST

OK friends, the lecture is now over. Tomorrow is a big day for me & the Mommy, so her says we gots to hit the sack early tonight. BTW: The Mommy is waiting until she gets some pictures of Finde before her will tell her story ... but it does have a happy ending.

Love Ya......Mona & the Mommy

The dog mom had before us once ate a bee and got stung. So mom tells me the story all the time so I will leave them alone.

The bees really scare my mom! So, she will not let me be close to one! I hope so!

I have to protect my Mom from bees if my Dad isn't around because my Mom is allergic to them and gets very sick if they sting her. I know it's dangerous, but it has to be done. I'm planning a bee post maybe tomorrow to tell about my dangerous job.
Mom says when Sasha was really young all of a sudden her nose got really really big and nobody could figure out why until Mom saw her messing with a wasp in the door. Sasha was protecting Mom and ended up getting stung. Luckily Mom and Sasha adopted Dad and then they adopted Gunnar and then me so there's more than just Sasha to help protect Mom now. Of course if Dad is around, we let him handle it. Those cool thumbs make it much easier to chase bees and wasps. Mom has a new weapon this year and that's going to be part of my bee post - if we could remember where the new weapon is to get a picture of it (I can't wait for this renovation crap to be over, I'm missing lots of my toys, chewies, bones and napping spots).
