.This afternoon Shelby Lynn went to her forever home
after being with us for 4 fours months. My heart is breaking,
as it does whenever I've let a foster go. She would have become
my 5th failed foster, if my health were better but her new
family is all I could have asked far. College Station is only a hour and a half away, close to were we visit in the country so hopefully
we can see her often. She will always be my special girl. I took these pictures of Shelby this morning with Mona and Prissy when
they woke up. It will be a much emptier bed tonight.

Great news Sarah! I am so happy for Shelby Lynn and for you because 1.5 hours away is not that far and it sounds like the people are open for visits!
Love you lots,
Mindy :)

Such wonderful news that Shelby Lynn has her forever home and her forever family. BUTT we're so sad to see her leave Blogville and you guys. I know she'll miss you as much as you will miss her. Best of Luck in your new life, Shelby!

As a former foster mom, I sooooo understand what you are feeling. The only advice I can offer is to remember that she is with people who will love her as much as you do.....
Hugs!
