A HALLOWEEBN RESCUE STORY WITH HELP FROM THE BRIDGE

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.”
William Shakespeare

Dearest friends,

Angel Weenie here..........

As we all know the month of October has not
been a very happy one for Blogville or my
family. Three of our dearest friends made the
trip to the bridge way to soon. Even though I
was overjoyed to be able to see then with my
own eyes, it has not been a happy time. Mommy's
favorite time of the year has always been right now,
but not this year.

My dearest Sissy, Mona, got sick and still isn't right
but she is much better, even if she has to use a doggie
stroller for a while. Mommy might need to have surgery
again, but more about that later. The reason I had to come
done earlier this week was because of this.

MISSING!!!! REWARD!!!!

LOST Monday 10/28/13

Male Dachshund: Jerry Alvis
PLEASE CALL 713‐417‐3775!!!
Lost in the Memorial Area off Deerwood Dr near
Walnut Bend, Gaywood, Briar Forest, Lakeside
Country Club!
Please do not chase. He is shy. May respond to
food!! Microchipped and wearing tags;
multicolored collar!!

Jerry Lee was adopted on Sunday the 27th and got away
from is his new owner the next day. This was not acceptable.
His former fosters were frantic and devastated as was
all of ATDR. Posters went up and he was sighted many times.

I decided it was time for me and some of our friends
to climb aboard my magic bumble bee and go look for him.
We found him in the woods!!
He was so shy and wouldn't let any peeps near him, so we took turns staying with him until Byron, his foster Daddy, found him after 2 days. He came from College Station where he lived and
said he wasn't going home until he was found. He had a bag of
Pupperoni's with him, Jerry favorite treats. Success!!

Of course you've probably already guessed who came down with me. So just because I felt like it, here is a small
Halloween Smilebox with some of Mommy's favorite pictures of us, that I had her make. The Blogville Smilebox will be dedicated to them.

please send pictures to
