Happy St Paddy's Day

An Irish Blessing.
May the road rise up to meet you,
may the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rain fall soft upon your fields,
    and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

For Amber from Weenie and Max from Mona

How is everybody enjoying St Paddy's Day? We been outside most of this gorgeous spring day playing with Mommy. She even let us split a green pop sickle. Yesterday she bought us each a stuffless stuffie. Of course Weenie's got deaded real fast but my pink one is still in good shape.

Mommy had some very sad news last weekend about, Nikki, Mommy's former foster and my would have been sister, if I hadn't been so mean to her. She had to be PTS. Mommy is broken hearted and cries whenever she thinks about it. Mommy will do a post about Nikki when she's up to it with some wonderful pictures and the one thing that gives her comfort.

Mommy's sugars are a little betters which is good news but she worries about me and Weenie and the bills, who to pay first or let slide a little. Don't get me wrong, we are not broke, her just doesn't like owing anybody anything. Mommy got a big surprise from Aunt Pam this morning. They went to breakfast at Denny's this morning and Mommy told her sometimes she just feels like she'd be better off if she wasn't here and she would be just as happy being at the bridge with her girls. Pam said that was ridiculous and who would take care of us. "You tell her Aunt Pam."

That's when Aunt Pam said, "We'll just have to put a stop to that kind of thinking"

She opened her purse and pulled out a pot of gold.
With $1666.00 cash in it.

OMD
Mommy almost had a heart attack.

Here's why we can now pay all her doctor and hospital bills and have a little left over for a treat or two.

When Aunt Annie died 2 years ago she left Pam her $5000.00 life insurance policy. Well Aunt Pam cashed it in and decided to split it 3 ways with Mommy and Uncle Sonny. Her might not like doggies but she loves our Mommy.

So now Mommy is not as stressed as she was and we just might get to share another green Pop Sickle.

PS......this is just for Puddles......

Some day ya gotta get Mommy to tell you about when she was a little girl and ate Cheetos HOT off the converger belt at Frito Lay.

That is such good news for you all, those bills really mount up when doggies are ill.
