Last week the Rainbow Bridge welcomed in 14 new dachsie angels. It is just too sad and way too close to home. Mommy was devastated when Shelby and the rest of the Fearless Five, including my Tiger and Lucky, both dachshunds, died in Miss Sandra's house fire of smoke inhalation, these little ones went that way too. What makes it so hard to bare is that these dogs were rescues waiting for their forever homes. ATDR, DROH and all dachshunds rescues are in mourning. This was not going to be our post for today but Mommy hasn't been able to get this off her mind. We'll be back later today to tell ya about Gizmo, Chico and Jazzie. It's 3 feel good dachsie stories.

I don't know what to say just how terribly sad and we feel for all those involved in the incident be it human or furry friend. Please pass on our best wishes and we are very saddened by the news. Try and have a good weekend.

That wuz a furry much tragic fire. We haf also bin followin'the Rescue on Facebook - this wuz hard tue take in cuz there are akchully people critizisin'them fur havin'so many little Doxiez - foolz don't really understand what a Rescue iz all 'boutz that'alotta timez peepz wanna help doggiez so bad that they(peepz) will due without. We Beaglebratz know we ain't Doxies butt may-b it'z cuz we all are Houndz - all of us at Team Beaglebratz were upset by this.
