3 Beams of Light
It is with devastation that we must report that the 12 puppies we rescued several weeks ago developed Parvo. They were rushed to our vet and some to the ER but they were just too little, too sick and Parvo is a merciless disease. Sadly only three were able to survive despite everyone's best efforts. They are our 3 little beams of light in this gloomy time. Unfortunately this has left us over our contracted balance limit with our generous ER and we will be unable to bring in any more emergency cases should they occur until our balance is brought down by $6,000. If you can find it in your hearts and your means to help save the next life in a dire situation, you will have our deepest gratitude from the bottom of OUR hearts.Rest in peace sweet darlings and play forever in the glow of the Rainbow.
Dearest friends,
A few weeks ago, we posted about 12 new puppies that ATDR had rescued that had contracted Parvo. At that time, there were 4 pups that had survived and were still fighting to stay alive. ATDR and are ER Vet, did all it could but we lost another puppy. Our rescue group needs help. A Chip In has been setup to help raise $6,000 needed to pay our ER Vet and allow us to continue to treat any dachshunds in need of emergency care.
If you are able to help, any amount would be much appreciated. Please click on the above link that will take you to the Chip In. Any donations are tax deductable.
God Bless and please keep ATDR in your prayers.

Poor, poor little ones to be struggling so hard to live. Have made a contribution and will add the 'chip-in' widget to our blog. Will keep those sweethearts close to our hearts in PURRayer.
Oh goodness! We are praying for them and we will put a link to your blog on ours!

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that these adorable pups are struggling. Paws crossed and healing vibes on their way. I'm adding your Chip In to the BC Calendar to help get the bark out.
Grr and Woof,

We are keeping our paw crossed and help as much as we can.
