Hi my dearest friends,


I know Mommy said we wouldn't be back until after the funeral but Mommy has been stressed out all day and what a better way to get unstressed than looking at all the Halloweiner pictures that the volunteers and fosters of DROH have been sending each other all week. Mommy picked some of the cutest dachshunds she could find in costume from pictures everybody else took. Of course I know that my team of doggies and humans was the best there but Mommy said I have to be humble. You be the judge, who should have gotten the grand prize this year........and no it wouldn't be me but since this is my blog, I posted Mommy's favorite picture she took of me.

Mommy also picked out a few pictures she really liked of some very special people and the dachshunds they belong to or they foster. DROH would not be the same without their volunteers, fosters and and those that adopt us. God bless them all!!!

And last but not least, my pretend Uncle Ron, because he got Mommy involved in rescue and he's my brother Peanut's (now known as Pee Daddy) Daddy with Greta the little wirehair Mommy fell in love with.

Of course, Mommy has been crying, thinking about how much all these people and doggies mean to us so It's time to go until next time........
