DROH JULY ADOPTIONS

Hi friends,

What a day!! Today was the DROH Appreciation Party for all of us that worked the Reliant Dog Show. But guess what? I DIDN'T GO!! But ya know what, I wasn't even upset. I know it is hard to believe I didn't get to go but neither did Aunt Judy's boys and if I couldn't have any of that fabulous food we heard they was gonna have, and did have, I'd just have soon stayed home. Mommy said I don't get along well with aggresive girl dogs and there was gonna be one there, so she thought it best I stayed with the boys. Tomorrow Mommy will post lots of pictures of the humans eating & drinking wine and off course lots of pictures of the dachies that did get to go.

Since today is August 1st, it is time to show all the lucky doggies that got adopted during July. July wasn't a fantastic month for adoptions but the way Mommy & all the others with DROH feel, is you can get even get one adopted, you've done something and made room for another one to takes it's place. That's what rescue is all about, right!! Maybe August will pick up a bit.

UPDATE::::Miss Kitty got adopted today!!! She's a Dapple and she was at the party and Mommy gonna show you her tomorrow. UPDATE # 2::::Mustang got adopted today too!!!

Before the adoptions, we want to show you all all my friends that was a Aunt Judy's today. Remember Mikey that Aunt Judy fostered? That's him to the left of the legs, not the Mommy's......to skinny...hee hee hee. To the right of the legs is his new sister, Belle, who got adopted the week after him. Aunt Judy is dog sitting them for 9 days. The little piebald between George & Harley is Brooklyn (a girl) who is Aunt Judy's new foster. Of course we can't forget me and Bandit.

Remember London? She was the little sweetie that the Girl Scott at the dog show wanted to adopt. Well it's official!!

Mommy had almost talked herself out of going to the party today, because she was exhausted from work but she is happy she did. Besides Mommy getting the usual "Georgie fix" she had tons of doggies to play with and Belle never left Mommy's side the whole day and you know I wouldn't have wanted to share my Mommy with another girl.
