DACHSHUND PLAY DATE PART 3

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
(courtesy of Simba and Jazzi)
"Good timber does not grow with ease, the stronger the wind, the stronger the tree."
Hi my friends,

Hope everybody had a wonderful weekend, like us dachshunds did. It was very sad when the Mommies found out about Wienie Boy leaving for the bridge Saturday. It's funny how sometimes the bad is followed by the good. Mikey being adopted yesterday was just the news the Mommies needed. Guess what? Mikey not only has a new Mommy and Daddy, two humans sisters and lots of children to play with (the grand kids), he might be getting a doggie sister too. His new parents want another dog, a girl, and today they were having a home visit with Belle. Keeping your fingers crossed worked for Mikey, maybe it will work for Belle too. Tomorrow we'll do a post about Mikey's adoption and let us meet his new family and hopefully his new sister.

As promised today's post is full of flowers pictures from Aunt Judy's backyard paradise and of course some more pictures of me and my friends.

First off her fig tree. It's already got figs ready to pick and lots of green ones too. You haven't lived until you've had one of Aunt Judy's fig pies, or so Mommy says since us doggies never get any.

Then there are the Meyer lemons. They look like big limes right now but they will turn yellow and be big like oranges. They are very juicy.

There are tomatoes everywhere in two big planters but Mommy didn't take any pictures of them cause she wants to show the the hanging tomato plants that Aunt Judy's husband bought. The one on the left is growing like crazy and has lots of flowers on it , so there will be tomatoes soon. The one of the right doesn't have much growth on it but Aunt Judy knows why. A few week ago, when she watering it she found a nest in the right one with 4 baby eggs. The Mommy bird made herself at home so Aunt Judy can't water it.

Here are a few pictures from Saturday.

Now here are pictures of just some the the flowers in the backyard paradise and some upfront and personal pictures of me and my friends that Mommy liked the best. Mommy says she doesn't know what hardly in of the flowers are but they sure are beautiful.

This is George, Meredith little boy. He is a black long hair and is very shy.

This is Shotzie. She is a red long hair and lives next door. Aunt Judy dog sits her when her parents go out of town so she visits often.

This is George, Aunt Judy's big boy and my Mommy's favorite. You ask why, right? Cause he could be my brother, Toby's, twin. Toby used to curl up like that too.

This is my Mommy's little girl, Me, Mona. No words are necessary.

This Harley, Aunt Judy middle boy. He loooooooves balls and nobody better ever try to take any away from him or there will be trouble.

This is Bandit, Aunt Judy's youngest boy. He is a Mama's boy and wants her all to himself. He is a piebald.

Well, there you have it. Me, my friends and the Mommies. Had enough? We got one more video to share, that Aunt Judy has given Mommy permission to post but we couldn't get it to load so we'll try again tomorrow.
Love, kisses ands {{{huggies}}} to all.........Mona

We've enjoyed looking at all the pictures! Is the yellow flowers butter daisy? LS brought back a pot recently.

Thanks for leaving a comment at our blog recently. Is it too late to submit the sleeping photo now?

Your yard looks really pretty. And it's nice you have some nice doggies to play with. I'm glad Mikey is getting a forever home and I've got my paws crossed for Belle.
