Don't ya just love the quote of the day? My Mommy says "what do they mean they just operate on a different level"? Don't all peoples talk to their doggies like our pawrents do and don't they know exactly what we want? In two words --- unconditional love!! They give, we receive and we give back. I wish all doggies had it so good and then dogs wouldn't be leaving for the bridge too soon, before they have a chance at the good life like poor Wienie Boy did yesterday.
Of course, what would a post be without ME!! Notice the tongue? It was 96 degrees yesterday. Thank goodness it was breezy in the shade yesterday. Mommy posted this picture cause it's a turtle I'm standing on. It's so cute and reminds me of Feebee. I am worried. We haven't seen her all week.
Anticipating--video to follow
You have all met Mandie before on my blog. She is a real pistol. Remember she humps everything in sight. Yesterday she was bossing everybody around. She wants to be the Alpha dog and that's OK with me cause she's a tough little cookie and ya gotta respect an older dog with spunk.
Dunn is very shy and it took all his foster Mommy, Meredith, could do to get him to even walk around but after about an hour he was moving and investigating the yard like the rest of us.
Of course, part of the fun of the day was investigating every inch of Aunt Judy's yard, so here is a little teaser for all your Mommies to get them ready for our next post tomorrow all about flowers and few more pictures of us dachsies. She gots figs, tomatoes and Meyer lemons growing back there too!!!
Here is a picture of Mandie Jo in action. Since she and Bradley live in the same house (with 5 other fosters and Meredith's dog George) he gets humped on at lot. He must be used to it, cause he just stands there until she's finished.
As you saw on the bitey face video from yesterday, Mikey never know when to quit. He don't care....he just goes on to the next doggie. He has been very good for Aunt Judy's boys....he has brought the silly out in them and that is a good thing.
Bandit is a Mama's boy and sticks to Aunt Judy like glue but as you can see, he and Mikey played bitey face a lot or as in the first picture, they'd squash each other.
If you remember from one of the video from yesterday, I tried to teach Mikey how to roach. His technique is a little strange but in time he might be as good as me........Not!!!
Starting to roll......
