Coco & WE MADE IT !!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished." --- Lao Tzu

Hi our dearest friends,

The Mommy.....

Wonderful news!!! We met our goal of $ 10,000.00 dollars and yesterday the Bernard Foundation cut us a check for another $ 10,000.00. Wow!!!

Just imagine how many spay & neuters, heart worm treatments, surgeries, dental procedures, boarding and heart worm preventives we can buy or have done with $20,000.00. We thank each and every on of you that helped us reach our goal or even offering up your prayers for our success. From the bottom of our hearts God Bless and Keep you!! You will always have a special place in my heart and all the little ones like Coco that we can help with every body's donations.

This is Coco the 4 week old puppy I told you about. She weighed 1 oz when she was born. The vet is cautiously optimistic that she will make it. As you can see she fits in the palm of one hand. She had a ruff start in her young life being rejected by her mother but we will do everything to keep her with us. If the two young men who are caring for her don't adopt her, she should have no problem getting adopted.....everybody loves puppies. Please keep her in your prayers. I will keep everyone posted.

Mona.......

Hi every body. I'm taking over now because the Mommy got all leaky eyed when she was thinking about Coco.

Since tomorrow is my snow post, I decided I would start dreaming about snow again, even though it's not Christmas anymore. I just don't think it's fair that every doggie gets snow except me....well not just me but you know what I mean. So I decided to have a talk with this snow man treat that Dachsies Rule gave me with my Christmas present. I talked and talked but he never would answer me so...........

I chewed off his head!!

We can't wait for tomorrow so I can do my snow post but I've only gotten pictures from eleven of my friends but the Mommy said it is getting warm again, at least here in Houston, so it's gotta be tomorrow.

See ya tomorrow......love Kisses and huggies from Mona & the Mommy too!!

I think the fact that he wouldn't answer you is rude. Chewing off his head was the thing to do.

Hi Mona and Mommy :D
The little guy is ADORABLE, and I'm sure like you said, he'll have no problem getting adopted.

I am soooo very happy that you guys made it!

Coco is adorable! And just think of all of the lucky Doxies that you will be able to save with that money!

We are sooo excited for you!

P.S. Mom found a snow picture of Zoe for you taken in 2004. For us I believe it has been that long since we have had some nice snow accumulation.

Oh man! Wish we had a snow picture to share but we haven't had snow this far down in So. Texas since that great Christmas Eve snow! Rocky got to play in that one but Ozzie wasn't here yet...
Hope you get some great pics!
