WOOF! STOCK 08 -- SO MANY DOGGIES

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"Dogs, gotta love 'em!!

Hi my dear friends,

Woof! Stock was a big success. Not near as big in the past, but great considering it was gonna be canceled because of Hurricane Ike. I've never seen so many doggies in one place, at one time, in my whole entire life, not even at dog parks. I made some wonderful new friends--doggie and human too. The Mommy even paid $20.00, so a pet psychic, could tell her about me (actually it was a donation). We'll talk about that in a day or two, if the Mommy remembers everything she said. I liked her a lot cause she held me and rubbed mu belly the whole 10 minutes she talked to the Mommy. "the Mommy was amazed, some of the stuff was right on".

The Mommy's cold isn't much better and walking around for 5 hours yesterday, didn't help her back much either, but the Mommy wouldn't have missed it for the world....me either! I was a little bit jealous about one dog named ROSCOE! Me and the Mommy was sitting watching the Frisbee competition when this Really bog brown brute can over and put his paws on the Mommy's shoulders and started licking her all over the face and giving her French kisses. The Mommy actually hugged him back and started laughing. Nobody or Doggie is allowed to give the Mommy French kisses except me!!! He tried to tell me it was because she had just eaten a hot dog and he could smell mustard and hot dog on her breath. I don't believe a word of it. Just explain to me why every time I turned around he was draping himself on her lap.

Now that I have that off my chest, it's time to show you some the doggies we saw. Tomorrow the Mommy will show you some of booths and other things from yesterday, and of course more doggies but I know you all want to see the doggies. Some of them look like some of you and I even thought some of them were but they said "NO".

This handsome fella is SKYLER. He is a double dapple and he is available for adoption. "Keep your fingers crossed--our other little double dapple, Snow White who is blind, was having a meet & great yesterday. We don't know yet if she was adopted but I'm sure she was. The lady with him is Becky, who has been fostering him for the last four months and is DROH's person in charge if all our foster volunteers.

THIS IS ROSCOE

This is WEBSTER. He is one our dachshunds and is also available for adoption. The lady is his foster Brenda.

This is ROSIE, a brave and spunky little girl.

I got so excited, I thought this is my friend MACK. I was so sad it wasn't.

I thought this might have been MITCH.

ME......after we got home. I was so happy!!

THE END.

Love, kisses and huggies to all........Mona

Mona, Roxie says you are always kissing our mom so Roscoe should be able to kiss your mom. But we know how you feel.

So many doggies! We are glad you had a good time. We can see why you thought some of those doggies were our DWB friends!
