"A dog should never be taken for granted."
--- Marc-Christophe
Hi friends,
I confess. I did it. I didn't mean to do it but I did it. I killed my pink stuffie. Aunt Mary bought each of us dachsies a stuffie and I picked the little pick one in the picture below.
Then it happened. Somehow it got into my month & exploded. There was snow flying everywhere. As you can see, I worked and worked and worked on getting all it's stuffing out looking for the squeaker, but just as a found it the Mommy grabbed it out of my mouth. "shucks...I never stick my paw in her mouth".
BTW...the handsome young doggie next to me in all these pictures is Andy. The Mommies thinks he has a crush on me!! The Mommy's grandma used to say that the woman should always be older then her man....Andy is 3 1/2 & I am 5 1/2.
Pretty cool job!!! R.I.P. Little stuffie.
In my defense, I blame it all on Andy. I was just watching him destuff his toys because he is an expert in destuffing. Watching him made me want to see what all the fun was about.....I have to say it us FUN!!!. Andy puts a lot of time and effort in his destuffing that he just got pooped out and had to take a little nap too.
Then a nice big old stretch.
One last picture. Remember the stupid musical monkey and walked over and fell on me? The Mommy brought it on our trip and wanted to see what the Dachsies would do. They was all checking it out but Sammy took it and ran off with it. That's Sammy pulling it my it's ear. It was so funny watching him try to jump on the couch. When last seen it was all wet but still intake. Whenever Roxie ir Andy tried to get it away from him he would growl. "Good riddance is all I can say".

Great job on the stuffie! They don't last very long at my place either :-)
Cheers

Good job Mona! Oooh, is love in the air with you and Andy? *wink*
Nice job! I'm a bit of a stuffie destroying pro as well. I give you an 8 of 10 Mona. You have to destroy the shell(skin) so it's unrecognizeable too.

Hey Mona,
Mom is still picking up snow from your visit. She finally picked up most of it yesterday but there is some under the table where she couldn't reach it. The purple monkey sings to us occassionally, so we have to attack it. Come visit again soon!
Roxie, Sammy & Andy

I think you and andy make a wonderful couple. Nice job on the stuffie.
Oh, it's okay Mona. I know you didn't mean to kill. It is just that you couldn't help it. Dog instinct I guess!

Andy is very smart if he does have a crush on you!! I sure do think you did a great job destuffing that toy!! That is what those toys are for!!
Hi, Mona!

Oh...RIP little stuffie...
Mona, great job!
Have a good weekend now!
Stuffies only have short lives, but that is the way it should be. Who is this Andy! I'm not sure I like him.

You've still got the rope leggies to work on, Mona!

Hi Mona, excellent job!
I saw a long hole on the side of that poor stuffy, oh oh , RIP, adieu!
Hugs,
Mom says dacshunds are the best stuffie destuffers out of all the breeds of dogs. Sasha can destuff something in about 2 seconds and it takes me a few minutes.
Good job!

I think stuffies were made special just so they could explode, that is why they are filled with that lovely white stuff that is so much fun to pull our!
