"Yesterday, I was a dog. Today, I'm a dog. Tomorrow I'll probably still be a dog. Sigh! There's just so little hope for advancement." -- Snoopy
Hi my friends,
Today the Mommy came home early and if you know my Mommy you know she very seldom if ever comes home sick but today she did. She calls it the "long thin dirties and wanting to barf everywhere". She took some medicine and we went to bed at 2pm and just got up. Things are starting to get back to normal around here so we are starting up our quote & flower of the day. Since the Mommy doesn't feel very creative tonight and heehee--she might have to get up and run, we are gonna share a few updates with you and introduce you to a special new friend of mine & his creative Mommy . The Mommy promised me she would be home with me the whole weekend, except for church and if she goes anywhere, I'm going with her. She says we are gonna spend most of the day before church reading and commemtly on your blogs. Tomorrow the Mommy is gonna tell you about what the hospital she works at did for everybody that works there.....her old job never did anything like what this job did for their staff & some of it was fun.
UPDATE: Baby Ike is still around and doing well. Actually he is putting some meat on his skinny little bones. Everybody has been feeding him and as you can see, he gets lots of dry and gourmet wet food. As much as everybody at SJMC will miss their little guest, he has found a home. The director of the Radiology was able to catch him today.....actually her 4 year old son did.....what is it about kids, puppies and kitty cats that they attract each others when them adults can't?
BABY IKE, having lunch & cleaning up.
Sorry your parents wouldn't let you have him,Clover but he is in a good home now even though, I bet he would have been a good brother for you.
Now I would like to introduce you all to a new friend of mine and his Mommy, Dana. His name is Elmo. He is new to the blogging world and doesn't know a lot of us yet but he loves to make friends just like we all do so stop over there & say hello at: http://elmosow.blogspot.com

ELMO, as drawn by his Mommy.
And last but not least, this is my good buddy, Rusty. He is the leader of the newly formed Rusty's Squirrel Patrol and I have just received my official patrol certificate. I shall display it proudly on my blog. At last I am part of a worldwide organization to rid the world of these pesky creatures and with Rusty as our leader I have no doubts this plague someday will be wiped out. If you are not a member already and would like to be please contact Rusty at his blog & his Mommy will sign you right up. His address is: http://chasingsquirrelswithrusty.wordpress.com
I take my duties very seriously and I got lots of practice after Ike left us, but them varmints are just so fast but I vow to keep trying.

But I agree, Elmo does look very different!
