Jody's Visit Day 5 & My Friends!!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"To me, to live without dogs would mean accepting a form of blindness" --- Thomas McGuane
Hi my dear dogs with blogs Friends,
The Mommy here. It has been a very sad but wonderful day too. I would like to thank everyone for all of the prayers and thoughts for my cousin Jack and our entire family. I don't believe in taking pictures at funerals but you all know how much I enjoy flowers and I made an exception for this one. My cousin Jack and his wife, Sarah, both loved to work in the garden and he loved plants, bushes and flowers of all kind so, I took the picture below to show you what was in front of the alter. Jack would have loved them.
Mona & Jody here. As the Mommy promised me and Jody, we went to see my friends Bandit, George, Harley and their Mommy Judy....I call her Aunt Judy because her boys call the Mommy Aunt Sadie, the Mommy's nickname is Sadie but it's really Sarah. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful time we had there, but then I always have a wonderful time whenever we go there, which is quite often. We played, and played and played outside until it started raining, then had some treats & then we all took a nap. Aunt Judy said it got so quite with all five of us doggies sleeping that all she could hear was snoring coming form the couch where we were all piled on top of each other. Of course, the Doofuss, had run out battery by then and she didn't get a shot of us" I was in heaven....just me and four boys cuddling with all them boys. Since the Mommy is old as dirt and she gets tired easily.....not me and Jody.....the Mommy said we would have to make this brief tonight and tomorrow we could load videos .....please, please ask his Dogness to make blogger work tomorrow!!!
So for tonight, we are just gonna show you some more pictures of flowers from Aunt Judy's yard which, as you have seen before, is one of the Mommy's favorite spots to sit and catchup on DROH news. Can you tell what most of my friends and me have in common in these pictures? The answer is not that we are all dachshunds, either. Handsome bunch of boys don't think?

Hope you enjoyed getting a up front and personal look at all my friends.
The only thing that would have made it a more wonderful day would have been, if
All if all of you could have been here too!!
Love to all our doggie, kitty cat, hammie friends & all your Mommies too....Mona & Jody too!!

Mona, there are so many handsome boys visiting you. Which one do you like best? It must be a tough decision since they are all equally handsome.

Luv

We can tell that your mom loves flowers almost as much as she loves the doggies! Our mom is like that too!
