We just wanted to let everybody know that Bradley is doing GREAT!!
The Mommy got a new report yesterday and just has to spread the news so from here on it's the Mommy speaking.
I found out today that Bradley only had to have surgery on his neck and not his hips. After all the tests and x rays came back, it was determined that it was never a hip problem. One of the disc's in his neck was compressed and pressing on a nerve. He has been on crate rest -- he hated it -- and has had his stitches removed. He is now able to play and do whatever he wants -- Yahoo, no more crate -- within reason. He will be moved to the available for adoption list in February. You might remember me saying that Bradley is a digger and while I was fostering him, he had torn up my whole backyard. I was always fussing at him and trying to break him of the habit, which I never could do. Thank God, I never did!! His surgeon said that all that digging helped strengthen the muscles in his neck and back. The surgery was much simpler than was originally suspected it would be. He should fully recover and be a normal, if
stubborn, little dachsie.
Mona again -- I am so happy Bradley is doing so well -- me and the Mommy are going to visit him at his new foster's house next weekend & I hope we can get some new pictures to post -- of course we still don't gots no digital camera yet -- are you reading this Doofus?
The Mommy speaking " yes, Mona, the Doofus heard you, maybe somebody will buy us a camera since you have been hinting so much for my birthday"
Well gotta go now...it's way past the Mommy's bedtime.
XXOOXX -- Mona & the Mommy too!!
