The Mommy and me.
The Mommy is having her 60th birthday on Jan 14th and I want everybody to meet my Mommy. She hates this picture but I love it and so does the family. My Aunt Pam believes in tradition & the family tradition is to have a hugh family party at a nice restaurant and have everybody go around the table and tell a story about whoever's birthday it is on their 60th birthday. Anybody that knows the Mommy, knows this will be very interesting because she is quite a character. The party is going to be tomorrow at STEAK & ALE. I was so excited ... until I found out I wasn't invited. IT'S NOT FAIR !!. JUST WHO IS THE DAUGHTER HERE? I'M SUPPOSED TO DO EVERYTHING WITH THE MOMMY. HOW DARE THEY LEAVE ME OUT.
The Mommy said she would make it up to me. NOW I REALLY AM EXCITED!!!
The Mommy said I could have my very own barkday party when my barkday comes on February 19th....because I'm a rescue and nobody knows when my real barkday is or how old I really am, my adoption date is my official barkday. I was about a year old, we think, when I got adopted so I think I'm going to be 4 years old. I am not gray in my picture but everybody thinks I am older because I have silver and black hair like an old person. The Mommy is old & she doesn't have much gray --"she paid me to say that".
I get to invite Roxie, Sammy, Andy, Jody and all my Texas doggie friends & are we going to have fun!! The Mommy said I get to pick whatever games I want to play and I can pick exactly what I want to serve my guests to eat. I said I want a meatloaf cake with mashed potatoe icing.....and I want every doggie to have their own desert. A doggie friend's Mom found a desert that she gave me for Christmas that is wonderful...so everybody will get their own little can - with less than 100 calories per serving too. They are called HEALTHY DESERTS by Nutro National Choice and come in berry cobbler, carrot cake, apple torte and pumpkin crumble.
I have more than a month to plan my party so everybody has to help me think of fun games to play. HOW MUCH LONGER IS 39 days?
"Happy birthday Mommy"
