UPDATE ON JUDY

GORDO, MR GRINS AND JODY

I would like to introduce everybody to my good buddy Jody and his new brothers. Remember a couple of months ago, I reported on a little emaciated, hookworm and flee infected doggie with heart worms that Tina & Chris found in Porter at the end of a dirt road and called the Mommy to see if DRoH would take him in? Of course they said yes & the Mommy picked him up to start treatment the next day. Picture the way he looked then and how healthy he is now. Right after he came into the DRoH program & started treatment, Tina and Chris decided they wanted to adopt him. They were approved for adoption but we don't adopt any of our dachsies out until they are well and have a clean bill of health, so Chris & Tina starting fostering him the day before Thanksgiving. On Christmas Eve, he got his clean bill of health & was adopted. What a wonderful pressie for Jody...to have his own family and brothers too!!

Now for Jody's brothers. Mr Grins is the little doggie laying on the top of the couch (he kinda looks like a cat), Gordo is the bigger doggie laying on the pillow and the chocolate one in the middle sleeping is Jody. GUESS WHAT? Mr Grins is Gordo's daddy. GO FIGURE THAT ONE OUT!

The Mommy got to name Jody, so she is his offical Godmother and all the boys come & visit and we have lots and lots of fun.

You know the Mommy is very long winded so we are going to give updates a little at a time or you'll get bored.
