DON'T CRY MOMMY, I BE OK

Hi Friends,

This is Jacks. I have a little bad news to report but I need your help to reassure the Mommy I be OK. She been crying & we don't like the Mommy to cry. Saturday morning, The Mommy found a boo boo on my ear but she thought it was just a scratch or something and it didn't hurt me any. Sunday it gots bigger and looked like a big boil but I wasn't hurting and I don't like to go to the doctor any more than she does . The Mommy had to go to the doctor herself yesterday so she called the Vet and told them she would drop me off today.

Dr Grimley called the Mommy and said I had a tumor that needed to be removed from the tip of my ear before it got any bigger. That's all it took was that one word, TUMOR, and the Mommy went off the deep end. So I had my surgery, they had to knock me out and when I woke up I didn't feel any different except a little bit of my ear is gone and I felt goofy. Dr Grimley told the Mommy not to worry, that he thinks the tumor isn't cancer but he sent to tissue to the lab to check if it is malignant or benign. We gots to wait about a week for the test to come back.

Please Mommy, I be OK. It don't hurt.....You worry too much.....let's not make a mountain out of a mole hill over this.....what's a week?

"Jacks my little man, my heart....a week is an eternity when you are scared."

Boy oh boy....it's gonna be a long week....I just hope my Reina don't mind my funny lookin ear.... Dr Grimley said after the stitches come out and the hair grows back I'll look fine....they say that the girlies like men with scars.... I sure hope they do!!

Please pray for me but mostly for the Mommy.......bye for now Jacks.

Mommies always worry - even if it is a split ear instead of a lumpy one! I would trust your vet who will probably be right because he's seen lots of lumps before! For now just milk it for all it's worth .. whine and sigh a lot ... your Mom will probably give you lots of hugs, kisses, and treats!!

Aw Jacks, you're so brave, you keep talking to your Mommy about everything, it will help her calm down...

Gals find scars sexy too ;-)

Sending all our love,
M & I

Your poor Mummy, my Mummy cried none stop when I was poorly. I'm sure you will be fine. But that won't stop your Mummy worrying, just make the must of the extra cuddles you are going to get.

Pawsitive terrier thoughts comin' ur way...don't think ur gonna change the mommy's mind...Mumsie hasn't moved off the sofa where she collasped after Scruffy ran away this week. That's their JOB...they worry. Daddy actually had the audacity to tell Mumsie that she was making too big a deal of Scruffy's mishap...that he was a DOG. Hmm...not a good thing to say to Mumsie...he did grovel the next day...ya can't change those nurturing hormones....healing licks to ur ear, Jack!!!

Humans worry like that, it's their job. Now Jack, you will be just fine. I insist. And you want to obey me and be just fine, Jack, cause i am a big dog. Ok? Ok, so that's settled.

Love,
Tosca

Jacks, we are praying for you and for your mommy. Our mom says she understands how scared your mommy is but she is trying to be brave for you. The doctor is probably right that is it nothing to worry about and you know he has seen a lot more of these things than any of us! You will always be handsome to us even with a funny ear.
