Our hearts are heavy. A week ago, Sunday, one of our country friends, Jake, got out of his yard and went into the woods and hasn't been seen since.
Jake has been on our blog many times along with his country cousins. He was adopted over 10 years ago from DROH. We met him right after Mona
was adopted at one of the Spring Flings.
His Mommy and our Aunt Mary have combed the woods, the tank (where the cattle drink) and all their far flung neighbors without any luck.
We fear he was taken by a coyote, wild dogs or a predator bird.
Mommy has been crying for 2 days and we will all
miss our dear friend. He was such an independent little fellow.

Oh noes. This is terrible news. I am so very sorry Mona and Mommy. I loved the smilebox, and I barked right back at Jakey when he was barkin' at the Cowdogs!

I'm so sorry to hear about Jake. But keep on hoping and praying.....maybe he's on an adventure and will come walking out of those woods one day soon. Miracles do happen sometimes if we believe hard enough.
