MR PIP -- THE NEWEST LIGHT IN THE SKY

When a pet dies, that special place in our hearts feels so empty...
But we realize, as time passes, that animals have a way of teaching us about loving, about loyalty, joy, and friendship...
And whatever we’ve shared in their presence can never really be lost.

Dearest Blogville friends,

Yesterday our dear Mr Pip became the newest star in the night sky,

when he started his journey to the bridge. The tears haven't stopped

since my dearest bestie, Gracie Lynn, crossed over and now to lose

Pip too. Mr Pip was such a character and we loved him dearly.

Mommy was looking for my favorite picture of Pip and couldn't find it so

she went to the internet and typed in Mr Pip the dog in beenie cap.

and this is what came up......

Pip: Beanies, Burgers, and Beer: I'm BACK

Sep 12, 2012 - Why am I wearing this beanie, you ask? because today ... I need a Beanie dog for myself. Pip, adopt .... We just love your propeller hat, Mr Pip!

So she clicked on it and her's what came up. The picture

I so much wanted to see. The way I will remember him,

and of course his cheeseburgers.

Beanies, Burgers, and Beer: I'm BACK

Have a cheeseburger, with lots of onions for me, my dear friend until we meet again.....♥♥♥♥Mona

Angel Weenie here......

I know that all of Blogville is saddened now by the
passing of Gracie Lynn and Pip and I grieve with them but
it just means that I can see both of them for the first time with
my own eyes. All that my Mona told me about them was true.
To see a friend with one's heart is one thing but in the flesh is
totally different. I am very excited to have them here and
don't worry none of us will miss the Blogville Halloween activities, cause the Big Guy up here is gonna let me take any
former Blogville residents down for a quick flyover their neighborhoods on my magic bumble bee.

The Mommy here.........

There are no words to express my sorrow but
I would like to share a poem and some of our favorite pictures
through the years with Pip.

I Thought I Saw You Here Today

We were so very close, we two
but I had to let you go
I hope that you can understand
it was because I loved you so.

No more pain, no aching limbs
no earthly ties that bind
No dimming eyes, no sleepless nights
you've left them all behind
I lost you many months ago,
and gained a broken heart
Yet I feel you close to me
although we are apart
Sometimes when I'm all alone,
I feel you by my side,

As if to try and comfort me,
through all the nights I've cried
I thought I saw you here today,
out the corner of my eye,
Felt soft brown fur against my skin,
heard the faintest sigh.
So wait for me at Rainbow Bridge
Until we meet once more
then we will walk together again
through Heaven's open door...

 God Bless..............Sarah

We've not stopped crying all day long. It's so very sad when we lose good furends. We try to remember the good times shared, but at times it's so hard.

Your tribute is beautiful.

We'll love you always Pip!

Oh my gosh, I hardly know where to begin ..this was beautiful on so many levels. The poem was so fitting because the last week was so hard on Pip. I spent many sleepless nights up with him trying to comfort him and ease his pain. I know he is free of all of that now - and I pray somewhere running free through fields of beautiful flowers like young puppy again.

The Beanie picture is one my favorites, too. I love all the pictures you posted. Most of these pictures were taken before he was sick and he looks so young and handsome. No pain in his eyes, which sadly was there at the end.

Thank you for such a lovely tribute!

xoxo, Kristin

Although WE are all SAD... the other side of the bridge must be ROCKIN and ROLLIN now that Gracie and Pip have arrived.

This is such a beautiful tribute. Its very hard to find words of comfort- and love- but you did it beautifully.
We have not stopped crying either- because when our friends cry- we cry.

Pip is already greatly missed. We hope he is running free and fast over the rainbow bridge and indulging in a cheeseburger or two. Have a marvellous Monday.

How lovely! We are so immensely sad and heartbroken over the loss of Mr. Pip and Gracie Lynn. We agree that there must be quite a party up there on that bridge. We were also wondering if Weenie ever said if he saw my Sammer and Trudie and if so if he sure could give them a big hug from us.
