MORE DOGGIE PLAYDATE PICS AND TOMORROW!!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul
remains unawakened."

Hi my very dearest friends,

Do you known what tomorrow is? My forced imprisonment will be over and done with!! (Thank goodness the Doofus reread the doctors orders this morning--it was 10 days not 14 days of rest.)

FREEDOM!!! THANK YOU BABY JESUS!!

I have big plans for tomorrows:

1. JUMP ON MY CHAIR IN FRONT OF MY PATIO DOOR FOR A NAP!

2. ROACH, ROACH AND ROACH!

3. CHASE BIRDS OUT OF MY BACKYARD!

4. BARK AT THEN STUPID TREE RATS THAT ARE ALWAYS JUST OUT OF REACH!

5. WEAR MY BIKINI AND LET MOMMY HOSE ME DOWN!

6. THEN JUMP SOME MORE ON EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE IN MY HOUSE.

7. LOVE ON MY MOMMY FOR BEING MY MOMMY.

For those of you who haven't already heard. I am cancer free! My oncologist called Mommy at work Thursday and said the final results had come through and they were all negative. No chemo. My margins are now excellent and other than checking for new lumps every day I don't have to go back until Aug 16.

"The Power of the Paw is tremendous! It worked for us! Mommy has got her piece of mind back and I have the bestest family in the world, all of you, our DWB family."

OKEE, DCKEE, now back to last Saturday's doggie play date and what else we was celebrating.

Remember my doggie friends? Aunt Judy counted how many dogs was there based on who their humans were, she thinks there were 23 doggies. It sure seemed like more.

Last Saturday was Bob the Builders birthday too!! So Paula made cupcakes just for him, and you should have seen all my friends bunched around him, trying to steal them. of course not me cause I was under bed rest orders.

This is Bob and my Aunt Judy. Remember the hat? Everybody has to wear it when it's their birthday. You can't see it but Paula and Brenda made him a scrape book to thank him for all he has done for DROH and anybody who wants quality work made out of wood. He does everything from his wheelchair and is a master craftsman. BTW...Paula said she was gonna make a scrap page for Mommy of my ordeal....something we'd just love to forget.

All of you know Aunt Judy's piebald Bandit. Bob made this airplane for him because he is too cute with his goggles and stands so proud and tall in it. This picture shows the detail Bob put into it. That's me in the picture with him, showing of my good side that still has hair!

A few weeks ago, just after Mommy found my lump, Aunt Judy found one on Bandits neck. We posted a picture of his scar before. Well he got wonderful news too. No cancer!! Just a fatty tumor on his very skinny self. Mommy says she eats chickens bigger than Bandit...he he.

Here are a few pics of Bandit. He loves his goggles and yellow airplane.

Mommy tried to take pictures of George, by himself, all day but she never could but the handsome light red dog in most of the pictures with Bandit is George. Whereever George goes Bandit follows and where ever Bandit goes, you'll' find George.
Some of the doggies at the the party were fosters that are available for adoption through DROH and also All Texas Dachshund Rescue. Every body wanted their picture taken in the plane. Here are a few of the shots Mommy was able take. Please excuse the Mommy from here on out.....she doesn't remember all the doggies names....what a Doofus but she is my Doofus!

KATY--available for adoption--just picked up the day before by ATDR and yes they found her with her toenails painted.

SAMMY
OZZIE
CHLOE

The rest of the pictures are of my Dachshund friends. All the other doggies you meet on my last post.

ZOEY--just like Puff Daddy, the poodle, he is an honorary dachshund cause we aren't sure if he even has dachshund in him. Whatever, he thinks he's a dachshund and so does his sister, Chloe.

MANDY JO--the star of the party and no introductions should be necessary cause she's been on my boggie many times--she is so special Mommy is gonna do a post just about her. She is available for adoption through DROH.

BLAKE--a piebald, "a girl" was available for adoption through DROH, but found her forever home after the party.
MIKEY--remember Mikey, Aunt Judy's former foster, that jumped out of our car window last summer when we went to them country and chased a cow across the field by the tank? Jethro--with Brenda, available for adoption through DROH.
OZZIE, KATY AND RUSTY with Diana.
BROOKLYN--the tree rat killer and eater, Aunt Judy's girl and my playmate...we play keep away...she wants her ball and I steal it from her.

HARLEY--Aunt Judy's boy in the best seat in the yard.
This is Mikey and Belle's Mommy and their human sister.
BELLE with her brother, MIKEY. She is sweet and quite. Mikey is a pistol, whatever that means, and never shuts up but ya can't help but love him. Aunt Judy calls him a TOOT!!

Had enough weenies yet? Gotta go now and plot my strategy for tomorrow.

Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all........Mona

Oh, it's so wonderful. I had heard you were cancer-free but I wasn't sure about the details. What wonderful details they are, too! It is so wonderful to see this good news and that you can be going back to your normal lifestyle, too.

Oh, that Bandit does look JUST like Snoopy in his doggles and his plane, doesn't he.
