RIP TY......

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

" You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly—that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.”
Anne Lamott

We lost my Daddy yesterday. You've seen us on Mona's blog before. The lady know as Aunt Paula is my Mommy but I was Daddy's #1 boy. I've been in touch with Angel Weenie and he said Daddy made it over just fine and he will watch after him for me. Please keep my Mommy in yours prayers.

Daddy's obituary............

Elvis Tyrone Richard, 64, went to be with the Lord on July 27th, after a courageous victory over cancer, succumbing to the devastating effects of cancer treatment.
He is survived by his loving wife Paula, parents Joy and Louis Richard, sister Ty Ann Noyes, brother Mark Richard, nephew Brandon Richard, nieces Deanna Richard and Jennifer Major, and his beloved dachshund, Jesse. Tyrone was a native Houstonian and a 1968 graduate of Jesse H. Jones High School where he excelled in athletics, set many city wide track records, and served on the reunion committee. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1972 with a degree in accounting, was a member of the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, and served as senior class vice-president. Tyrone was treasurer of Basic Constructors Inc., was a financial advisor at American Express Financial Advisors, Inc., and for many years had a successful business in the Clear Lake area as a certified public accountant specializing as a tax and financial advisor.
Both the visitation at 10:00 a.m. and the casual grave side service at 11:30 a.m. will be held on July 30th at the Grand View Memorial Park Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena. In lieu of flowers please send donations to www.dreamdachs.org
