Rocky the Boxer Update -- Great News

Hi everybody,

Rocky has recovered well enough to be discharged from the hospital. He will still be going to see Dr Briles for followup treatments. I am thrilled for him. He is staying with one of his
"dogmothers".  This picture was taken today and this is what he said on his Facebook.....

"Good morning two-legged furballs, just me hanging out on a spot called a porch, in deep thoughtful consideration. Yup, deeply considering going back to that spot called a pillow. Have a happy Tuesday....."

This picture was taken the last time I saw him on 3/22/13. They said then that he would be going "HOME" in about 3 weeks. I had hoped to visit with him again today but he has already left.  That's OK. He will always be in my heart.

These are his own words from 3/22/13........

"I got a case of the "sillies" today, one of the dogmothers was here visiting me, and then Ms. Sara showed up. Ms. Sara is a lady who loves "weenies", she was telling Dogmother about it, and at first I thought how cool is that, a human that loves weenies like I do. Then I found out her weenies are the low-rider kind with four legs. But, she said that from the day she found about me from her friend Dr. B, that she always thinks about me. So, I had to show her some love, and got a little silly trying to get in her lap. Cause I roll like that...I'm a weenie, you're a weenie, wouldn't you like to be a weenie too? "

Excuse me now. I need to go cry with joy.
