POWER OF THE PAW REQUETED FOR BANDIT

Christmas is coming in 21 days

No quote of the day but here's something to think about.

How dogs and men are the same....

1. Both take up too much space on the bed.
2. Both have irrational fears about vacuum cleaning.
3. Both mark their territory.
4. Neither tells you what's bothering them.
5. The smaller ones tend to be more nervous.
6. Neither does any dishes.
7. Both fart shamelessly.
8. Neither of them notice when you get your hair cut.
9. Both like dominance games.
10. Both are suspicious of the postman.
11. Neither understands what you see in cats.

Now ya know why there's a connection between men and dogs.

Mona here.............

Remember Aunt Judy's little man Bandit, the doggie that likes to hump my head?
Poor bandit is sick. Diarrhea and vomiting. That's how Weenie's problems started. I am worried about him.
Aunt Judy found him half way up one of the jalapeno bushes the other day. Picked one and ate it.

They wanted to keep Bandit for 3 days giving IV fluids. Aunt Judy said no because nobody is at the Vet at night.  They kept him yesterday on fluids, antibiotics and anti diarrhea  medications and Aunt Judy picked him up last night. He will go back this morning for more fluids.

Aunt Judy sent an e-mail last night saying...........

He doesn't look or act sick. He's still eating and got excited about riding in the car yesterday.

I picked him up at 6. He's doing great. The vet said he's never seen a dog act so normal as
Dehydrated as he was. So he thinks just one more day of IV fluids will be enough. The lab results pointed to Hemo Gastro. Aka bloody diarrhea / vomiting. No known cause.

He has his leg bandaged where IV port is so he thinks he can't walk. :-)

Please keep my little buddy in your prayers.

We hope Bandit will make a rapid recovery. Pip has had it for third time now and the vet says this time of year they can pick up a bug easily. We are just waiting for lab results to give her course of a more focused antibiotic. Paws crossed. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
