The Pettie Packs New Home and Remembring Dear Friends

The flower of the day was sent to Mommy a few years ago by Twix. There are more and since we think of Twix all the, we will be using those pictures as long as they last.

Twix was very dear to me and Mommy. When I was diagnosed with cancer, Twix was ill too and their was a kinship between us and our Mommies.

There has been so much sadness lately. So many of our DWB friends gone, ATDR lost Margie, a 20 year old senior, Mommy has been sick and the fear that we would lose my brother.  Mommy stopped visiting blogs and while she was gone Bolo went to the bridge too. Today she went over to Bolo's blog and saw where "Stuffy" is keeping us updated just like Bolo promised. Bolo and Margie left for the bridge on the same day. I'd like to think they crossed together and are running free like puppies again with Twix and all the other pups we've lost too soon.

Both of these pictures are our favorites.

Someone once said that dogs don't smile. You be the judge of that.

After such sadness, something has finally happened that has made the sun come out again. Once in a while it's good to smile.

Ms Sandra is so excited.

The new two legger, a boy, is due in Oct

On 6/24/12, Ms Sandra called Mommy and asked if she had been by the house. She hadn't since the first picture was taken. She of course, started crying when she got there. The outside of the house is almost finished and it will be something the Fearless Five would be proud of. The construction company said it will be another 2 or 3 months before they are totally finished. We are keeping are fingers crossed that it's before the new baby comes.

It's been a long time coming but it's getting closer and closer. 

2 years ago tomorrow something happened that changed Mommy's world for the better. Tomorrow we will have a special post about it but most of you will already know because it changed your lives too.
