Happy Birthday Thunder & It's all about Weenie

Quote of the day:

"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly dog" ---Edward Hoagland

Happy Birthday!!

Thunder is 5 years old today.

One of our bestest friend's birthday is today. Thunder with the beautiful eyes, that Mommy said she could drown in, just like she could his angel sister Dakota's eyes. Hope your day was the best ever!! Today we start posting a flower a day and what better way to start than one from Mona's best kitty friend Jelly Bean and our handsome Thunder with some flowers too.

Today's post is all about me! As all of you know, my sister is a world champion roacher and I have to say she taught me good. There is just one difference. I can't roach unless I oink like a little piggy. Here I was starting a roach in my daybed.

Mommy was laughing so hard, all the rest of the pictures came out all blurry but you get the idea. Mommy never has her camera ready when I start roaching to take a video but even if she did she can't get one to load anyway. She don't care so much about the video part but she'd love to let you hear me grunting.

This is how I finished this roach. Mommy said I look like a "devil dog" in this picture. How rude!!

OK....remember last Saturday when we went over to Aunt Judy's? Well me and Harley got into a minor scrap over one of his real bones. It was his and I snatched it away. He jumped at me and I snapped back at him but the Mommies was so fast they got us separated before any blood was drawn. Not to worry, we are still friends but I know better than take a bone that doesn't belong to me. So while Mommy was getting her Georgie fix, I went outside to see what kind of mischief I could get into.

Guess what? I found another bone, even bigger than Harley's bone. It was all dirty and nasty but it sure tasted yummy. Aunt Judy followed me around taking pictures as I tried to hide my treasure.

Had enough of me yet? Well I gotta show you my baby girl before I close f0r the night. Mona has her own baby, Koya, so it was only right that I have one too. This is my Baby Tiana. Yep, she's all mine and I love her a whole bunch. She just turned 1 year old. She is beautiful, don't you think?

That's all for tonight. Having my own post was fun!!

Love ya..........Weenie

I agree with you Weenie... there is nothing better than a PERLOINED bone!!! You just have to make sure the PREVIOUS owner isn't near.

You certainly have learned the Rules of Roaching from Mona!! Well done buddy!

Thank you so much for your kind words about Thunder and his birthday - he sends you lots and lots of kisses.

We think you are a great roacher, Weenie. Mona taught you well. It is so important to get all that roaching done in your bed until you find just the perfect spot.

Your little Tiana is a sweetheart - glad both you and Mona each have your own special little girls.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
