Easter Presents

Hi dearest friends,

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. We sure did BUT we was kinda scared that the Easter Bunny would pass us up this year cause Weenie was bad last night.

"It would have been all your fault, Weenie!!"

"Was not!!"

"Hush both of you!! That was last night. Today is a new day and we had too much to the happy about today for you too to bicker."

Mommy here........yesterday when we got back from Judy's house, I was exhausted. Our double birthday celebration was fantastic and Judy's doggies and Mona and Weenie had a great time playing. They played so hard that on our way home Mona & Weenie both feel asleep on the passenger side and never made a peep. I decied to give each of them a new stuffie to try and keep them occupied while I took a nap. I had bought them several weeks ago but held on to them. They were flat animal stuffies, that have very little stuffing and each has 12 squeakers. They are supposed to be indestructible.........HA!! You will see at the end of this post what happened to them in less than one day. Let me just say, when I woke up from my nap, there is a big mess. Weenie is a complete wreaking crew on his own but Mona was not blameless. She likes to tear them up too but Weenie's stuff and not her own.

Mona & Weenie still got their Easter goodies today. Hopefully they will last longer than the raccoon & bear did.

Weenie and Mona on the bed.

The eggs are confetti filled eggs. The kids got to bust them and had a blast playing with but then Weenie tried to eat the shells and that was the end of that.

These pictures were taken this afternoon of the carnage that took place last night and this morning.

Mona here.........."Now I ask you, what do you see all over the floor and just whose butt is that in this picture?"

Weenie! On the attack.

"Yep, that's all the those squeakers Weenie tore out. Nothing is safe from him."

Weenie here.........."Don't' let Mona fool you guys, look what she did to her raccoon. She tore it's shoulder almost off!!"

In the next few days or so we will be posting pictures of Georgie, Harley, Bandit, Brooklyn, Weenie & me after the birthday celebration. These are the birthday girls with their cake, Meredith on the left and Becky on the right, daughter & Mother.

We didn't get our cupcake that Mommy's promised us but she did bring us some of the birthday cake. It was vanilla and it was "Yummylicious!! It's supposed to be a dachshund like us but that's the fattest one we've ever seen.

Have you ever noticed that you never see too many pictures of our Mommy? She hates taking pictures but Paula took this one of us and Mommy actually likes it. She looks like a big giant purple Easter egg......hee hee her hee!!!!

We would like to stop and take a moment to thank all my older friends and the new ones we made, for allowing us to use their snow pictures. In case you want to check them, here is who they were.

Well, Weenie may not be able to see, but clearly all his other senses work great. Just remember, being bad is good for blogging. You get some funny pictures out of it.

I love the confetti all over Mona and the bed, what fun!!!

Love, Cupcake

Maybe Mona and Weenie thought it was part of the Easter Egg Hunt to find all those squeakers:) Glad you had such a fun day at the party. Mona and Weenie, we know your Mom can't stay mad at you for too long - you'll get those special treats yet.

Hi Mona! Hi Weenie! What awesome Easter stuffies you got! We are glad that the bunny didn't decide to hold the stuffie destruction against you! But we are pretty sure that the Bunny knows that doggies like to de-stuff and de-squeakie their toys, so we don't think he would have held it against you anyway.

Weenie is a dog after my own heart. A good stuffie is a stuffie in pieces!

Nubbin wiggles,
