23 Days Until Christmas
QUOTE OF THE DAY:

Mommy has never understood what makes people want to hurt us. Back in July, a lady in Houston discovered that someone was poisoning her dogs and they almost died. The person was throwing cheese balsl over her fence that had poison in them. She didn't just stand by and let this go. She took action and caught the jerk on camera. Justice as been served!!
Mommy said she would give him a TASTE of his own medicine.
Yesterday Mommy was off, not her choice, they're flexing again where she works, but she was kinda glad cause we had lots to do, things you can't always do on the weekends. Let me tell you about our day.
First, while Mommy was on the computer doing rescue stuff, I took a little nap. It was too cold to play outside, so I snuggled down and took a little snooze.
Then Mommy said we needed to go to the post office to pickup a package. Of course it was too cold for me, so Mommy bundled me up in my sweat shirt with a hoodie on it.
Of course I had to drive.
That mean old post office won't let dogs come in but that was OK. Mommy brought my big blanket and I stayed in the car, nice and toasty, with the door locked in case anybody tried to steal me.
Then we went to one of my favorite places, the Toyota dealership to get the oil changed in my car and for me to visit with my friends there. Miss Cindy, our service rep, is always so happy to see me and she took me around to visit all my friends that work there, while Mommy went to the room where you can get free coffee and talked to some man she didn't even know. Mommy can talk to anybody, anytime and of course the conversation always turns to rescue.
After visiting with everybody, I had a good roach on the carpet while we waited for my car to be ready. We don't have any carpet in my house, so it was a nice change.
This is Miss Cindy. I just love her.
Then we went to Texas Dollar & More to buy some decorations for Mommy's office. SJMC is having a food drive, so we bought groceries from there too. Mommy will post pictures of her area once they do the decorating tomorrow. After all that running around poor Mommy was tired and her knee was hurting so we went home and took a nap while she took the cure. That was the best part of the day....cuddling with Mommy!!
OK......Now let me show you what happened this afternoon.
This is Smokey, my pit bull neighbor. When Mommy comes home everyday, he is waiting at their gate cause he knows he'll get a treat, when I get one.
Look at that face.....
who could resist a face like that!!
his 1st milk bone.....
his 2nd milk bone
his 3rd milk bone.
My 1 and only milk bone.
"Hey Mommy, I want another one!"
Oh well, it was Yummylicious!!
