MY VISIT WITH DROH AT WOOFSTOCK & MY BESTEST CITY FRIENDS

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(courtesy of my friends, Asa and the Bookerman)

"Remember, it only takes one smile to make another!"

Hi there,

Guess what? Mommy has been so happy this weekend. First the good news about Shelby, then she visited with her 2 legged friends with DROH, got to see lots of gorgeous doggies, got to meet Sassy and Ellie Mae, Nancy's dachshunds, and best of all, got bunches of Georgie fixes!

The bad news is that Old Arthur-ri-ties came calling after she went to the grocery store this morning. After she gots back from the store, she took the cure. Of course I jumped next to her and put my butt on the heating pad to take the cure too. We woke up about 2 hours later. There's nothing better than warming my butt and napping with Mommy.

Before I get to my post, ya gotta listen up. Today we are starting posting pictures of my friends with flowers or trees. We have started with A  and  B. So here's the deal. If you'd like to have a spot at C to Z please send a picture to me at redricca@sbcglobal.net.  If I don't get any, I'll just go picking from your blogs. Mommy is doing a home visit tomorrow with a lady that wants to adopt Fanny, one of ATDR seniors, so we won't be posting again until around Wednesday or so. So you doggies with a C - E gots time.

OKEE DOKEE.....

Mommy took her sweet time coming home after Shelby's Vet visit. Why? She stopped and had lunch at Denny's. Did I get anything? NOPE!! Of course, I had to help the old girl drive. Shelby & I have that in common, we both like to help Mommy drive.

****please excuse the quality of the pictures on this post, the sun was too bright****

Do you like my cap? I sure needed it yesterday.
Aunt Judy made it.

I have such good memories of being the champion of kissing for DROH and I asked if I could help for an hour or two. Of course they said yes but they had lots of willing doggies doing kissing duty. These are the doggies that took turns.

CRAZY DAISEY

You might remember her from some of my previous posts. The scar on her face is from the first cotton mouth snake bite she got.

Of course, there was lots of other doggies there. Here are some Mommy managed to get.

My heart almost went down to  my feetsies, when I saw this little fella. But it wasn't my Tiger. I was very disappointed.

This is EMILY ANN, Brinda's Scottie. Remember last year when Brinda's other Scottie went to the bridge. She is the sweetest girl..........

and since she is an honorary dachshund she was helping with the kissing duties.

My Aunt Judy made Emily Ann's cap and harness too. So pretty! Pretty in Pink!!

Two rescued pits. They were gorgeous and so nice. The white one kept kissing Mommy. She kinda looks like Shelby will soon. I just know it!

This is what I wore to Woof Stock but I got nakkid as soon as we got to Aunt Judy's. Here I was waiting for Aunt Judy to come get me and Mommy. Her knee kept locking on her so we couldn't walk to the car.

Finally we got to Aunt Judy's and what is a visit to Aunt Judy's without some flowers.

This is one of Nancy's dachshunds, SASSY.  She's a red long hair.

Nancy's other dachshund, a dapple.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures of me and my friends at play. Mommy collapsed onto the couch and just watched us play inside.

Last night, I left you with a picture of me and my friends begging.  Today I leave you with us chowing down.

Sounds like a great weekend all around for you and the Mom. Sorry about the arthritis, our Momster is having lots of joint aches these days too. Great news on Shelby.

Since the arrival of Ciara, our flower supply has dwindled. And now of course, the flowers are all gone.

Those flowers in Asa and Booker Man's picture are gorgeous! One of my dog's names in Chico but I don't have any flower pictures with him. The other is named Shiver and I don't have any flower pix of him either. Boo!

You always have the best pictures and quotes!
