NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take

your breath away." - Unknown

Happy National Night Out!!

Today's the evening to get out and meet your neighbors. No excuses. The weather right now is gorgeous in Houston. Me and Mommy are gonna join Roland and Norma in their front yard and are gonna have lemonade and cookies to share with all the folks on our block that wanna come bye. Mommy even made Ranger Cookies and bought a bag of treats for any doggies that stop by. Wanna come?? Everybody's Welcome!!

Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all.....Mona

Mona!!! That would be so fun! I wish I was at home because I know Grampy would take us. But I will be there in spirit. What a great thing to celebrate!!!

Mona!!! What a super GRRRRREAT idea!!! I LOVE IT!!! A way to get to know your neighbors.. That is one way to keep your neighborhood SAFE!!! And a perfect time of the year to do it.. right before the little peeps do their Trick or Treat thingy!! Now they will KNOW who they can trust. BRILLIANT !!! I really really wish I could be there with you for this one!!!!

Well,of course as cats we will not be going out, and odds are that our mom won't either - mainly because we know a lot of our neighbors already (and dad knows more because he is on the HOA board). But we think it is a great idea to know your neighbors - we think it helps a lot when things are going on!

This is a pretty cool idea! I already know most of my neighbors. One is a pretty nice guy who keeps my front yard mowed in the summer. The other one isn't so friendly. The neighbors on the other side of me are always very noisy. They seem to think they need to talk VERY LOUDLY whenever they're outside, which is often when the weather's nice.

Dear sister...
It's been more than a happiness when you drop by just to wish for me. I'm so grateful to the fact that I have another sister like you so it's more than enough for me ^_^

Dear Mona,

I have bad and sad news... I may not be able to go to the event saturday... My Grampa has started to feel sick. But it is a bad sickie. He feels dizzy... If we don't get to see you saturday maybe we can meet at a bark park with Mack and the Pittie pack? Mack stopped by my blog and suggested the idea. Could you pray for my Grampy that he gets better?

Lick,
Ruthie
