LOTS OF DOGGIES PART 2 AND LOTS OF 2 LEGGERS

 QUOTE OF THE DAY:

19 DAYS UNTIL HALLOWEEN!

"Many years ago when an adored dog died, a great friend - a bishop, said to me, "You must always remember that, as far as the Bible is concerned, God only threw the humans out of Paradise"

Hi there my friends,

First off before we get started showing more picture of all the cool doggies I met Saturday, I got the say something to relieve at lot of your minds. Schnitzel is fine and getting better every day but it will be another 6 weeks before he will even be considered for adoption. Mommy is just waiting for some pictures to show you just what a will this little fella had to walk around.

One more thing. Mommy is so excited! She gets to see the puppies tomorrow after work. She don't want to scare anybody but Sandra says Megan has bump on her tummy that is getting bigger and it looks like a hernia.....do doggies get hernias? Mommy made an appointment for Saturday for them to take her to see Dr Briles. Sandra said she is eating fine and acting like a normal puppy, so we'll just have to wait and see.

DOGGIES ON PARADE
            See anybody you know?

Not sure what kind of dog this is or is it a raccoon?

My goodness, there was a lot of doggies there and a bunch more the Doofus couldn't take pictures of cause the battery went dead. Me and Mommy have been to a lot of events, first with DROH and now with ATDR but nothing like this. There were hundreds of 2 leggers everywhere. All these folks were gathered around the race course when the races started.

Oh my dog!!

That's it for tonight folks!!

But what is a post without me, so here is are 2 pictures of me. This little dog, wanted to be with me in the kissing booth so he  jumped right out of his Mommy arms. He is kinda cute, don't ya think? He whispered in my ear that he liked my little princess dress.

I was knocked out dreaming of my Tiger in this last picture.

Love and {{{huggies}}} ... Mona

Mona,
Looks like you had a pawsome time and I bet you raised a lot of money kissing folks all day.
In regards to Ms. Megan, yes puppies can develop hernias from birth. Lily Jayne had to have surgeries for 2 hernias when she was fixed. Sometimes they heal on their own and sometimes they need to be surgically fixed. It happens!
Much luvums,

Hi Mona! We love all the pictures, and we can totally understand why that little doggie wanted to hang out with you!

And we are glad that Schnitzel will be ok and able to find a forever home!

And oh, we hope little Megan will be ok - we don't know about doggies but we do know that kittens can get hernias that are like a bump on their tummy - the ones we knew that have had them got them fixed when they were neutered/spayed and then were totally fine. We hope that is how it will be with Megan!

I am SO relieved that Schnitzel wasn't put to sleep! That really bothered me a lot that they were going to do that to him. But then again I don't know what his birth defect is or how it affects his quality of life.

I don't blame that little doggie for wanting to spend a little time with you, you look so pretty in that dress that he just couldn't resist!

Yes, dogs do get hernias.
