PUPPY UPDATE -- FINAL TALLY

Hi dear friends,

Me & Mommy are at Dachsie's Rule here in the country and  wanted to give a quick update on the puppies. Sorry we didn't get back with all of you last night but we couldn't use the computer until just now. One laptop and 3 gabby women, doesn't mean a lot of blogging time for any of them. I have other things to do right now.....like playing, barking at cow dogs, sniffing around, digging in the dirt and keeping Emma, Aunt Becky's 1 year old pit bull/Labrador mix puppy, away from me. All she wants to do is play with me but she is SO big. I gotta be brief, cause Aunt Mary is gonna watch the Texas A & M football game on the computer and that starts AT 6 pm.

Mommy called Sandra as soon as we got here yesterday and she said that Shelby's last baby was the little stillborn pup. Around 2:00 pm her placenta came out and she was done. So the final tally is 4 girls, 2 boys and one angel boy pup. All doggies deserve a name so I have decided I will call him Tucker, in honor of the Brat Pack's Tucker who recently went to the bridge. Big Tucker can teach Little Tucker all he would have learned had he made it. So many of you commented yesterday about Molly having passed and that she was taking care of baby Tucker. So now they are all together, along with my angel sister Samantha and the other doggies we have all been forced to say goodbye to too soon.

A little bad news, Sandra called this morning and said that one of the puppies, a girl, is not doing well. Shelby can't get her to nurse and she is very weak. Sandra was on her way to Pets Mart to buy some puppy milk to try to force feed her. Mommy has never had a puppy so she doesn't know anything about what happens now. The rest of the puppies are chubby and moving around a lot.

Mommy will try to post another update tomorrow. Lets pray that they can get little Molly to eat soon. I'm calling her Molly, cause Frankie Furter, wants to buy the naming rights to honor Angel Molly. Frankie came up with the name of Pattie Cake for the first girl, Sandra calls her Moo Moo, since she's so fat.

Gotta go now, I hear some cow dogs that need to be rounded up!!

Love, kisses, & {{{huggies}}} to all.......Mona, the country dog!!

Tucker was a good choice for the little angel. I'm happy that Frankie is raising more money by picking names for a few of the puppies...so I guess this means that only 2 girls and 1 boy are left to name since I believe he wanted one of the boys to be named something...can't remember. We will all cross our paws and pray for little Ms. Molly and hope that she is able to feed well and live a long and happy life. You will have to update us with photos of each pup and their names.
Much licks and love,
The Slimmer Puggums and their 2 mamas

I can't wait until you go back home so we can see more pictures of the puppies.

That's so sweet you named the one Molly, after sweet little Molly Pops. I hope she'll be ok. Poor girl. I'll keep her in my prayers.

Mona, you are correct. That is the lovely Isabelle that my momma would like to adopt. She is happy to hear that you have met her...so she must be in Houston. I know many of the ATDR dogs could be in Dallas etc.
My momma read that Isabelle is very friendly. She likes that cuz I am very shy, and my momma would like a doxin to go on Therapy visits to da Nursing Home with her again

My momma submitted her application so keeps your paws crossed

PeeS: I was away for a few days so I have to go back and read up... I must have missed something - cow dogs?! I wonder if they're anything like my duck dogs.

We are just now catching up with blogs and can't tell you what this post means to us. Thank you so, so much for thinking of our Tucker.

I'm sure he's teaching Little Tucker the ropes....

Love to you all
