SHELBY'S TEST RESULTS

Hi my friends and Shelby's guardian angels,

This weekend was been exhausting for Mommy and Sandra too. Somebody at work sent this kitty cat picture through e-mail and Mommy says she felt just like this today.
(please click on picture to read words)

Mommy & Miss Sandra are very worried for Shelby's puppies. They are so scared that all the medication Shelby had been taking might have hurt them. Dr Briles said all we can do is wait and see. Mommy didn't sleep at all the last two nights thinking about the puppies. It's gonna be a long 2 or 3 weeks waiting to find out if they are alright. From now until the big day, all our prayers are for Shelby and Miss Sandra.

Shelby's lab test report:

Mommy here........

Dr Briles called this evening, with Shelby's lab results.
All her lab work came back good, even her thyroid, except she is Animac.
He said besides the heart worm prevention, to start giving her multi vitamins. He said they would help her and the pups. He also said make sure she eats lots of puppy food. I called Sandra to give her the news and asked if Shelby is eating. She said she has been eating everything in sight, so that's a good thing. Sandra & I are relieved knowing that there is nothing more wrong with our girl, other than what we already were aware of.

Gotta go now. Mommy eyes are getting heavy so I've got to take her to bed.
Night, Night!!

Love, kisses & {{{huggies}}} to all.....Mona

Yipee for good test results! The puppies could be fine. I guess that's just something that requires prayer and hoping for the best. The eating a lot is so good. She's eating for ? now.

You always have the best pictures and quotes!

I'm glad that was the news wasn't any worse than Shelby being anemic. I'm a little scared for those babies but hopefully they'll all be ok.

Hi Mona! We are so behind we just read the last post - we are so glad that Shelby didn't have anything bad, and that it was puppies, but oh, my goodness that poor girl having to go through all that. At least this time she will be doing it in a loving home, and her puppies will also have good, happy lives! And oh, Sandra having her own baby - well, she doesn't need to have any stress - we wish we could take that from her, and you too! It is so wonderful you are there to help them out!! We are sending tons of purrs and prayers for everyone at both houses - so much to deal with right now!

I love hearing good news! It's evident that Shelby is a strong girl. Here's hoping that the puppies will inherit that trait!

We are hoping and hoping that the babies of Shelby will all be furry strong and healthy. You can't worry too much about the meds she took because, after all, if she hadn't been saved, she would be in heaven and we would not have ever had to chance to know her!
