KISSING FOR ATDR AT THE RELIANT DOG SHOW 2010

Hi dear friends,

Yesterday was my first time kissing for ALL TEXAS DACHSHUND RESCUE and it was also the first event that Mommy and I have done with them. It felt kinda strange not being at the DROH booth for Mommy cause she didn't know a lot of people but everybody was very nice and it didn't matter to me, because I can kiss anybody, anywhere, anytime. Our hearts are still with DROH because me and all my brothers came from there but now we are with ATDR and Aunt Judy is too.  

Something happened as we was going home yesterday but I'll wait until you get to see me in action before I share the news.

I had so much fun playing with this baby. He kept patting my face and giggling and once he even pulled my cap off.

Here are some pictures of just me except for the second one. That's Ms Sharon, my new friend. She stayed with me the whole time to make sure I didn't fall out while Mommy was
"talking up the crowd."

I gotta tell you this. My Mommy sold 2, yes, 2 kisses of her own! She says she is old not dead. One man tried to kiss me but I wouldn't kiss him so he told Mommy he had to get a kiss from somebody so he kissed her on the check. She almost fell out of her chair....it's been awhile since she was kissed. Then a man Mommy's age came by with his 5 grand kids but he only had a ten dollar bill, a kiss cost 1.00 each, and after his grand kids each got a kiss he told Mommy we could keep the change if she'd give him a kiss. She said it was for a good cause and she gave him a kiss!!

I thought I saw Mackie Poo but it wasn't but his Mommy did come to see me and I gave her a bunch of kisses to take to him.

This next picture is not meant for my Tiger's eyes. I was even selling kisses to doggies but it was for a good cause, so maybe I won't be in too much trouble. 

As you can see #3 your favorite. I was gonna wear my yellow harness, its Mommy's favorite, today but we didn't go because of what happened as we was leaving yesterday.

As we was walking out, Aunt Judy noticed that I was walking with my tail tucked between my legs, not with my bushy tail waving like usual. I was exhausted, kissing all day is hard work you know, so I sleep all the way to Aunt Judy's, not at all like me. When we got Mommy and Aunt Judy started messing with me and anytime they touched my tail or butt I would whelp. Aunt Judy said maybe there was something wrong with my anal glands and started squeezing my butt. It was nasty. After that she gave me a pain pill and we all went to bed. This morning I didn't want to get out of bed, again not usual for me. So Mommy said we wouldn't go to the dog show and tomorrow she's gonna take me to see Dr Briles.
DANG IT!! 
It was not the way I planned on spending the day with Mommy since she is off tomorrow.

We'll be back next time with pictures of some of the other dachshunds that were there and some of the really cute doggies we saw.
