QUOTE OF THE DAY:
My my dearest friends,
Before we continue with Part 2 of "My Friends, Trees and Flowers" post, I need to beg for prayers for this little girl. Her name is Miranda. She is at the Pasadena Texas Animal Shelter. Remember Nancy, whose little dog, Chloe, died suddenly earlier this year? Nancy and her husband decided it was time to adopt another dog but they wanted to get 2. Aunt Judy knew someone that had a dachshund that they wanted someone to take that would give her a give a good home and Nancy decided she liked her. Her name is Saucy, a red long hair.
Well Nancy was at the shelter when Miranda was surrendered and she decided they would adopt her but they said not until she got spayed BUT when they started the spay, the Vet found a uterine tumor. The tumor will be be removed Friday. The Power of the Paw worked for me, so please, please help us pray for Miranda that the tumor is benign.

Now on to Part 2.
When Mommy picked me up from the groomer Friday, we drove by the grade school that Mommy went to, St Anne's Catholic School. Course that was 100 years ago and it has changed a whole lot but its still there. You all know how much Mommy loves flowering trees and so she took this pic of the entrance to the school.
All of these trees were taken around our neighborhood. I keep telling Mommy that someday she's gonna get in trouble taking pictures of trees and flowers in front of peoples houses. They might think she's staking out their house. Mommy doesn't know what most these are, she just knows she likes them.
This a pomegranate tree.
This is a magnolia tree.
Remember my pretty fur bows that Miss Lilly gave me last Friday. Well they only lasted 1 day on my furs so Mommy gave them to Aunt Judy to see if she could make me a new harness with them on it. Wouldn't that be neat?
Most of the pictures we took last Sunday Mommy has already posted. But Mommy just had to post this picture of George. He is such a handsome boy and he loves my Mommy because she always spoils him rotten.
"Hey guys, why are we in here and they're out there?" How many doggies do you see in this picture? 6? Nope only 5, the tiny dachshund on the left is a door stopper.
This is her vegetable plot. There are 2 bell peppers plants in the front & all the rest are tomatoes. There's nothing like a home grown tomato.
Oh yes, she has lots of cactus plants everywhere too but you've seen them before. Bob the Carpenter made this little wheel barrel for Aunt Judy. He makes them with leftover wood he has on hand.
OK, that's all for tonight BUT Mommy got a small video to load. It's of Brooklyn. She loves playing this game with her Mommy.
Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all............Mona

Beautiful trees you have down there in Texas! Mom is trying to grow tomatoes and cherry tomatoes this year, but as we don't have a yard, she has to grow them in window boxes, so we'll see how they do!
