Hi dear friends,
Mommy is very unhappy today so this is not the post we were planning on posting tonight. Yesterday DROH lost two of our rescues who have gone to the Rainbow Bridge to be with all the pups we couldn't save. Frank had distemper, almost always fatal, and Isaiah, heart failure. It hurts so bad, when we try and try to save a helpless little one but lose the battle in the end. But now they are at the Bridge were they are whole again and running free.
Sometime we feel that it is hopeless and we will never win the battle to save them but there are always pups out their needing help, so we don't give up. Mommy found out yesterday that we have a senior dog that has lost an eye and needs surgery for a hernia but he is Heart Worm Negative!! His name is Fredrickson, so please help us say a pray for him and wish him luck.
So tonight, I begged Mommy to at least show you what we did after the Spring Fling that night. Harley and George didn't get to go to the Spring Fling, so when we got home Harley wanted to play and George just wanted Mommy to love on him, as usual.
Harley loves to destuff stuffies with noise makers inside. I brought him one of my stuffies, a Christmas Reindeer, that Mommy said was strong and Harley wouldn't be able to destuff or get the noise maker out.............
like he did this bunny......
but as you can see she was wrong!! HA!!
Then I hopped on the couch to take a nappie but Bandit and Brooklyn wanted to rumble. No amount of dirty looks would chase them away.........
but after an hour or so we all decided to do this.........
ZZZZZZZZZZZZ!! Me dreaming of my Tiger. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! George
ZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Brooklyn and Bandit (can you tell there are two dogs in the above picture--they kinda blended together)
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Harley
The perfect ending to a perfect day. Come on Hallowiener!!
Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all..........Mona

We are sooo sad.
But look what fun you had! Loved seeing you napping :)
Hope you have better weather where you are. It's all kinds of rainy here.
Lots of Luv & Kisses
Addie, Lucie and Hailey
I am so sorry to hear about your losses. But that doesn't take away from the good you do. It's that way with any endeavor like that, whether it's helping humans or other animals. You never win, but you only lose if you stop trying. Right?
On a happier note, the photos are great and it looks like everyone was having a pretty good time.

I am soooo sorry to hear that....
we'll be telling our woggie angel brofur chico to give frankie and isaiah the grand tour at the bridge so plese to not be too sad anymore. we're sure chico will take great care of them.

It is always sad to lose those beloved furries, but sometimes that happens. There is so much other good that happens because of DROH - feel better, Mona's Mommy - you do so much to help.
Have a great weekend.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

Rescue is such an emotional roller coaster... but there is no more worthy Mission.
Fank goodness for all the happy stories of all the doggies whose circumstances have been reversed by you... and DROH!
