Hi friends,

Guess what? Something wonderful has happened in connection with our November adoptions, that we just found out about from an e-mail my Uncle Ron sent Mommy on November 28th.....if she would just open her Yahoo e-mail everyday, she would have know, and we would have posted about it on our Nov. 28th post which we just realized was was our 500th post, for real. So at the end of this post you will see why Mommy says this Thanksgiving was the best since she had to give my brothers back to DROH.

Sarah... I wanted to let you know that Peanut finally got adopted. He's going to spend the rest of his life with some really nice people who love him and will take good care of him. His friend, Rhodes, as well as Pebbles and Bam Bam also got adopted by the same people. So they are officially no longer fosters. Just thought you might like to know. Oh yeah, the nice people are us

adopted 11/28/09 Peanut, AKA Pea Daddy.

This picture was sent to Mommy last New Years, of my brother Peanut & Uncle Ron. When Mommy had to give Peanut up in 2006, due to her Aunt having gotten very sick, Peanut went to 4 different fosters and they all said he was a biter (he never was with Mommy). There was talk about putting him down but Uncle Ron said it would kill Mommy, if they did, so Ron and Deb took him to foster. From day one my brother and Uncle Ron became inseparable and his named was changed to Pea Daddy. As Mommy has said before Ron and Deb foster the dogs nobody can handle, that are sick and or just old. Mommy never worried about Peanut not being adopted because she knew Uncle Ron would always take care of him and since they lived close to us she could visit her baby whenever she wanted. When she got the e-mail, she cried and cried for happiness. It is hard for Mommy to always explain how she feels about things but here is the response she sent Uncle Ron:

Oh Ron & Ded,

You have made me so happy for Peanut and the others too. I couldn't think of anybody but you taking care of my baby. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. You saved his life as far as I'm concerned when you fist took him in. Now you have made this the happiest I have been since I gave him and Siskle back to DROH.

So there you have it, 11 lucky ones now have there furever homes. It just goes to show you that every dog has a chance for adoption or being loved as a forever foster.

OK...come back to tomorrow.......We have a squirrel killer for hire.

Now which squirrel patrol needs recruits and she is a guaranteed killer.
