Suzanne, and she is devastated. She had never lost a foster before. All of DROH is saddened by this loss. Suzanne said she looked so sweet and peaceful, almost like she was sleeping at the end.
We are thankful that her babies appear to be well and being cared for by fosters that will shower them with love and that they will have a better chance in life than their mother did.
There are guardian angels all around us and now there is a Dachshund with angel wings among them......RIP sweet girl.

Sweet Champagne fought hard but she is free of pain now and in very good company! :)

I am so sorry at the passing of Champagne. I was just thinking that at least she wasn't alone, she passed over in loving arms and I am sure she took that love with her across the rainbow bridge.
