WARNING.....there are pictures of an injured pup, on this post, so stop now if you think you might get upset......there is no blood or guts.
One of the many rescue groups in Texas needs our help. A little pug with Dallas Fort Worth Pug Rescue needs help. Please see her story below. I can't understand why people want to be so mean to us and we always forgive. Why can't humans be more like us?

Abused Pug's Spirit is Not Broken
This spirited little girl is Boca, a victim of abuse. Luckily, someone saved her from the terrible situation she was in and called us. When our volunteer picked Boca up, her little puggy tail wagged a thank you and she snuggled up and went to sleep, safe in the arms of rescuers at last.
Our veterinarian says Boca has been kicked, and her jaw is broken in at least two places. Boca is undergoing emergency surgery Friday to repair the damage, and the doctors say it may take more than one surgery to heal her injuries. Can you help us with her care? We desperately need funds for her specialized surgery and continued care. Please click on the donation button on our Web site and note that it is a donation especially for Boca. We cannot do this without you! Thank You!

It makes me sick thinking how anyone can do that to a defenseless animal.
The story of ow little Boca wagged her tail at the rescuers made me want to cry because despite what she'd gone through, she still trusts humans.
Poor Boca, it's amazing that she is still willing to trust humans. We will try to help her.
Saw the Joanie update. She is so sweet with those babies. Paws crossed she is well and will start gaining weight soon. ~S,S,C & F

Its horrible what some people can do to defenseless animals.
What is amazing in the story is how an animal is still able to trust after being abused.

Mona and Mommy, thank you so much for posting the story about little BocaPuggy. This poor baby has such a hard time eating and drinking and Dr. G is hoping we will have her feeling better very soon. Thank you to everyone who donated to help with her surgery Friday.
with much love,

OMD that poor baby! Grrr I really really hate people who do stuff like this, and people wonder why I prefer my pets!
How could someone kick a puppy?! Horrible! I hope those surgeries will help that sweet girl, and I hope her faith in peoples will never be let down again.
Poor doggy. That must be so painful. We hope she is able to have her surgery and gets a wonderful home!
People are so unbelievable, it makes our stomach hurt. Poor Boca.
Hi Mona and Mommy! We're going to either find a flower picture or take one tomorrow!

Hi Mona, you are so cute and I love seeing you on the video. Your bandana is very nice. Boca made Mommy cry and then very angry. How could anyone be so mean? Mom will do what she can and we will pray for Boca. The Power of the Paw is amazing.

I cried hard when I read Boca's tragedy! I pray that she will get better, when I saw the picture, I thought how could she eat or drink, oh no.
My daddy helped me click the donate button last night. Thanks for spreading her sad story, Mona. You're such a wonderful friend.
Please keep us updated!
Hi Mona, I am sooo very much glad that I am a dachshund and not a real people. SOME of them can be soooo mean. Poor Boca. It made me think about how lucky I am.
You are a really cute girl. I wish I didn't already have my twin girlfriends (and Frankie Mae who is my backup he he he). Mom says I can't be fickle. I don't know what that is... butt I do know what a pickle is. I wonder if they are the same sort of thingy?
I love it that you are helping others of our kind.
I make a monthly donation of food to my local animal shelter.
Hi Mona,
Thanks for telling us about Boca. We made a donation to help with her surgery, especially since we know how expensive they can be. Poor little girl, I hope she gets all fixed up and finds her furever home soon.
