SATURDAY AFTERNOON PLAY DATE

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(a Mona Lisa Lilac....named after me?)

"I would rather see the portrait of a DOG that I know than all the allegorical paintings they show me in the world." --- Samuel Johnson

Hi dear friends,

Mommy and I had another wonderful time with some of my dachsie friends, their Mommies and some of DROH's foster doggies. Of course we where at my Aunt Judy's house because she has such a beautiful big backyard with lots of places for us to explore. So sit back an enjoy the pictures taken with Aunt Judy's camera. She said she's gonna start charing Mommy to rent her and when we do buy another one she's gonna chain it to Mommy's neck so she don't lose it....believe, me that is what it will take!!

This was the last picture taken of my play date. We all look tired. It's hard work having a good time and I slept all the way home on Mommy's lap.

First off, we had a little inside play before Becky and Meredith came with their 3 doggies. There were 8 of us all together....the more the merrier I say.

I think this poor creature never stood a chance against all 5 of us.

Some outside action.

Tails up everybody!!

Of course course, my Mommy has to share her favorite pictures of her number 1 boy in the group......George!! Sometimes, I get a little jelly of him because my Mommy loves George so much but he is so much like by brother Toby and I can forgive her because I get to go home her and he doesn't...I do!!

Three of us are being fostered and are available for adoption. The oldest one is Mandi Jo.
She was an owner surrender (her owner had Alzheimer's and the family didn't want her) and she is around 10 or eleven years old BUT you'd never know it. She runs and plays and her favorite pastime is "humping" every doggie or stuffie in site. She tried to hump me but Mommy didn't have the camera when I snapped at her.

Bandit almost bit her head off.

But it didn't stop her from tryin with anything that moved.

Here will all are.
George....Meredith's baby

Toby? Nope....Aunt Judy's George

Aunt Judy's Harley

Aunt Judy's Bandit

Ruby....she's available for adoption

Mandi Jo.....she's available for adoption

Bradley....he's available for adoption

Me.....Mommy's baby

Now for the humans.

Becky with Ruby and Mandi Jo

Meredith and me
Judy and Bandit...what a Mommy's boy!

Mommy and Harley

A little more outside action on the deck in the shade. It was hot in the sun!

AUNT JUDY'S BACK YARD--OUR PLAYGROUND!!!

MY AUNT JUDY'S PLANTS AND FLOWERS!!!!!
You might need to click on the pictures to se how colorful the flowers are.

Well there you have it. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Roxie, Sammy, Andy, Evander and Fritzie could have been ther too!!
Please if you haven't already read my earlier post, Please read it now and go over and help Baxter, another pup in need. You know it never ends.
Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all...........Mona

That little Mandi Jo is cute, she's all about that humpin because she wants to show every one else she's the boss. She's still cute tho, bless her little old heart.
