AN UNEXPECTED PLAY DAY

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"There's something comforting about being in a house where dog hair litters the sofa and the bedspreads." --- Anonymous

Hi dear friends,

Guess what? I had a real treat today, an unexpected play date with my friends, Aunt Judy's boys, Harley, Bandit and George. This picture was taken a long time ago and since we still haven't found my camera, I picked this one because they are laying on the sofa and there is a lot of dog hair on it.

Remember Harley, Bandit & George?

Mommy went to work like usual this morning, but the computers were down. The IT department couldn't give a time the system would be back up so the bosses said it was a perfect time to start or finish the Health Stream Learning courses that have to be done by May 31st. After each associate had finished they were allowed to go home. Mommy only had 3 left and she finished in less than 2 hours. At 10:15 am, she was out of there.

I was shocked when Mommy came home early. As soon as she came into the house, all she did was grab my leash and out we went. I didn't know what was happening until we turned onto Calder Road in League City. As soon as we turned onto, Aunt Judy's street, I knew. Yahoo!! Yippee!! I was soooo excited!! I got to see my three buddies and spend the whole afternoon with them. Here I thought Mommy brought me just to have a play date with the boys but the truth be told........she wanted boiled craw fish and Floyd's in League City has the best craw fish in town. She said, she hadn't had any craw fish this season, so today was the perfect day. Mommy said they was Yummylicious!!

Mommy has been so upset about Dasy's murder, and God knows how many others, that today was just what she needed to get her mind away from it for awhile. We would like to thank everybody for signing the petition.

Saturday, DROH will be participating in another Pet Fair and me & Mommy will of course be going. Don't know about the kissing booth this time so I might just have to give all my kisses away. Here is some information about it. This will be 3rd year DROH has participated in the Deer Park event. One of the best things about this one, is that dogs are allowed off leash. Here are the details, if anybody is interested in stopping by. A free kiss to all my DWB friends, I promise!

I got almost a whole extra day with the Mommy and being able to visit with my friends was extra special. Mommy liked the craw fish so much she brought 3 pounds home for tomorrow. I'm exhausted, so off to bed for us.

Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all.....Mona
