Mommy has something very important to ask of you today. Yesterday my Uncle Neil told her about a dog that was shot to death but he didn't bring the newspaper article about it because he knew how upset she would be and didn't want to see her cry. This morning, Evander's Daddy, Michael, sent the link below to Mommy and she was outraged when she read the article and then opened the link to see the video.
This horrible story took place in Texas and Marcus Luttrell, an American hero, and fellow Texas neighbor needs our to get justice for his dog DASY.
For those of you who might not know, Marcus Luttrell is a Navy Seal and is the "Lone Survivor" of the 2005 battle that that caused the largest loss of life in Navy Seal history. Dasy was given to him as puppy to help him recover from his horrendous wounds both physical and emotionally. She became a therapy dog so to speak. Dasy's name came to be when Marcus used the first letter if each of his fallen comrades to name her. She was killed by 4 young men driving around
shooting dogs in the country recently. Please, please consider signing the petition on the link, read the article and view the interview with a local newscaster.
You will be as furious as Mommy was and be teary eyed by the end of the interview.
Two of the four men aren't going to be prosecuted because they weren't involved. Excuse me.....they are as guilty as the other two since they did nothing to stop the killing. This is unforgivable, when caught all 4 laughed about it like it was no big deal, and all 4 should be convicted to the maximum sentence of 2 years in prison, at least. If it was up to Mommy shewwould throw them in jail and throw the key away.
Please take a moment to consider signing the petition. You don't have to be a Texan to do this little favor for me. We need 15,000 signatures. When Mommy looked after signing the petition we had over 8,000 names and just a few minutes ago we were at over 11,000.

I didn't watch the movie but signed the petition and passed it on to all my friends. They need to be punished, it has been shown that people who kill dogs and show no remorse eventually end up killing people!

We're glad you brought everydoggie's attention to this! Our mom saw it on TV and was wishing she could DO something! We signed the petition! What a horrible thing for kids to do! They should be tazered until they're dead! We know that's harsh, but we don't care!
