BUTTERFLIES & THE WINNERS ARE!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"The ideal dog food would be a treat that tastes like a postman."

Hi dear friends,

We gots our winners. They will be revealed at the end of this post. This was a toughie, but don't feel too bad, the girls never even noticed it until my Aunt Pam's husband, my Uncle Sonny, saw it when Aunt Frances had one made for each of them Ricca girls and that was in 1979. The correct answer was that Frances.....the oldest girl on the extreme right.....had her shirt inside out and backwards. Only one person actually saw the seams at the shoulders....do you see it now? Also there is something else nobody ever noticed before until some of you did. Between Mommy & Aunt Pam it looks like it might be Fuzzy, the girls dog that lived for 19 years before she died. She was special. Sometimes Mommy will tell you about her. She got Mommy out of a lots of scraps. She was black & white and very furry. She was what was called a Heinz 57 variety back in the old days.

But first....Mommy got an e-mail yesterday from a very dear friend of hers whose Mom is dying of cancer and it made her cry......of course it never takes much......because she knows what its like to lose someone to cancer, just like she did her sister, Frances, & she agrees with what it says. Sorry, Mommy don't know how to get the glitter on the butterflies to work but there are still pretty.

Time passes. Life happens. Distance separates. Children grow up.

Jobs come and go. Love waxes and wanes. Men don't do what they're supposed to do.

Hearts break. Parents die. Colleagues forget favors. Careers end.

BUT......... Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you. A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach.

When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you...Or come in and carry you out. Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters,

daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers, Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended family, all bless our life!

The world would not be the same without women. When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we would need each other. Every day, we need each other still.

And the winners are:

ADDIE AND LUCIE

CLOVER

KHYRA

and an honorable mention to MACK for being the first doggie to comment and he almost had right. He knew it had something to do with the shirts.

Your prizes will be sent out right after Easter. Thanks everybody for playing along. Mommy has decided which picture to use as our banner but you gotta wait until next time for that.
Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all........Mona
