TWO "Os" AND CACTUS FLOWERS

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"You own a dog; you feed a cat."

Hi dear friends,
Did we ever tell you that the Mommy loves cactus? Where she used to live, a hundred years ago, she had a cactus garden and my Aunt Judy has a bunch at her house, which have been posted on my blog before. Well, she has been driving by the same house for the last three years on her way home from work, watching the development of a tiny cactus bush that is now a humongous tree. Today she saw a elderly man tending the cactus and decided to stop and ask him if she could take pictures. I keep telling the woman, not to stop in the street and talk to strange people but she never listens to me!! Anyway, he said sure and she pulled our car into the driveway and got out. He introduced himself and his elderly wife (she said she only stopped because there was a lady with him) to the Mommy and took her on a tour of his yard. All along his entire house was cactus. Here are some pictures of the tree, the Mommy has watched grow for the last three years.

Some of the cactus had flowers and prickly pears on them. So today the Mommy wanted to posted some of the cactus flowers, she saw on the Internet.

Before I introduce you to my choices for my "O", I must apologise for the Doofuss.
Like I've said before, good help is hard to come by sometimes but she is my Mommy so ya gotta love her. She forgot the add the blog address for Niamh, so if you haven't already figured out here it is: http://settertails.blogspot.com

Strings of Friendship "O"

ONG BEE BEE a Jack Russell Terrier from Singapore

The Mommy thinks she is a Jack Russell Terrier so if she isn't it's Doofuss's fault not mine. She looks like she loves to nap just like I do. I also don't know any doggies like her, so she will be my first friend of her breed if she wants to be my friend....I sure hope she does. She is really cute too.

Go on over and say hi and tell her Mona sent you.

OZZY a Wire Fox Terrier from New York

Ozzie lives with his doggie brother Romeo, his Mom and his Grandma in Wappingers, New York. His Daddy went to the human bridge in 2007 and now Ozzie and Romero are the men of the house.

ROMEO & OZZY NAPPING
I see a spot that's just my size and I like to burrow under the covers just like Romeo does. Their blog address is: http://ozzywftny.blogspot.com

The Mommy would like to thank all you doggies for all the hugs and comforting words yesterday. She has a very big heart and she has lots of from for all of you.
The Mommy only cried once yesterday while she was at church, so that's progress.
Love, kisses & (((huggies))) to all........Mona

I am scared of those cactus trees. They bit you, don't they?

Oh love all your pics! And what great friends you have. Those cactus look like the kind I feed Tobie my leopard tortoise.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

The only cactus Mom likes is Christmas Cactuse. She's had a couple bad experiences with the pokey cactus and now tries to avoid it as much as possible.
