TEXAS PUGGIES AND KITTY CATS

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "May your troubles be less, your blessings more, and nothing but happiness come through your door."

Hi dearest friends,

As must of you know, the Mommy's heart belongs to Dachshund Rescue of Houston but she has a lot more room in her heart for other rescue groups. Her friend Michael, a former co worker at Christus, adopted both a pug and a dachshund from rescue groups several years ago and has been very happy with both from the day their little paws entered his life. So today the Mommy wants to share a bunch of pugs that are available for adoption that are looking for their forever homes. It you want to see a bunch of dachshunds, of course, you can go to http://dachshundrescueofhouston.org but today post is about pug rescues, so what a better time then my "Strings of Friendship" feature.

This wonderful rescue group is @ http://dallaspugrescue.blogspot.com

Did you know that this rescue group has pugs all over Texas waiting and praying for a forever home. Here are just a few very special little dogs available for adoption. Wouldn't it be wonderful if one or more were being adopted as the Mommy typed this!!

IN THE DALLAS FORT WORTH AREA:

Leia

Zippy

Matilda

Romeo (a baby in the state capital)
In the Austin area:
Polly

Mr Pipp

In the Houston area:

Scarlett

Sammie

Just like us at DROH, there are also special needs pugs that deserve a good home or at the very least people that care and make sure they are given everything they need and lots of love too. The Mommy has 3 special needs dachshunds waiting at the bridge right now with Samantha & Jody that she sponsored until their deaths, that she loved as much as me, Samantha, my brothers and any other doggie in trouble and danger. They may never have found their forever homes but they lead safe and comfortable lives because of rescue groups like these. Rest in peace Luther, Gabriella and Sara Ann.
This beautiful little girl is Savannah. You can read her story @ www.dfwpugs.com

Please, Please stop by and help this rescue group who are helping these precious little pugs have a happy future.

Strings of Friendship "T"

I told the Mommy last night, that we hadn't showcased enough kitty cats so we went out and found some and of course their doggies that live with them.

TAMA-CHAN the Abyssinian from Perche, France

Tama-Chan is gorgeous! She looks so exotic and the Mommy said she could just drown in her eyes. She has a handsome brother, Tom, a English Springer Spaniel.

And Now!!!

TIA from Georgia
Most of you might not know Tia but I bet you all know her sister, Sitka and her boyfriend Zim. She also has a baby sister named Cornelia Marie. They are both Siberian Huskies. If you go and visit her you will see that she just recently had her 16 birthday.

CORNELIA MARIE

SITKA

THE HUSKIES SISTERS
We tried to find a picture of all 3 of these girls together, but couldn't find any. The Mommy kept stopping to view all the videos, so we couldn't kept looking or we"d never have been able to start this post. My Doofuss has zero
orginzation....Mona (speaking)
URGENT MESSAGE!! We may have to skip the "U" post. Does anybody know of any doggie, kitty cat or hammie out in blog land that name starts with a "U". We found one but he/she isn't blogging anymore. I am broken hearted. Does anybody out there have a nickname that starts with a "U". If so please e-mail us at redricca@sbcglobal.net
Boy of boy...talk about a long post. Me and the Doofuss gotta go take a nap.
Love, kisses and (((huggies)) to all..........Mona
