WE GOTS SNOW!!! KINDA

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"For dogs, it's never too rainy nor snowy to go for a walk."

Hi my friends,

I never snows in Houston BUT today it did. Of course most people wouldn't say it was snow but it was. It was just too wet to stick to the ground. It started just about rush hour,so it took the Mommy an hour to get home. Peoples just don't know how to drive in Houston as it is, but put a little snow in the mix and they all drive like maniacs. Not the Mommy of course!! The Mommy went to get the mail and before she could get into the house she had snow all over her red jacket. It was so pretty!!

I've never even seen snow, so I had to go out and investigate as soon as the patio door was open. I didn't see any snow but when I came back I was covered in white stuff and I was shivering. It was snow....it really was!!

This picture of me was taken after the Mommy dried me all up and I was wallowing in the comforter off our bed....I know, I know....why are the sheets & comforter still on the floor......that's something you gotta ask the Mommy.

I want real snow. The forever kind of snow that sticks to the ground for at least a day. This picture was on the Mommy's 365 days of dachshunds calender that she keeps on her desk at work and it had the quote of the day on it. Kinda cute seeing as we had snow today.

This little girl looks just like Nikkie, one of our former fosters, that could have been my sister but I was mean to her......What can I say? I just didn't want to share the Mommy & I wanted to be the only girl in the house, besides Mommy.

My Aunt Judy is always sending us funny stuff to make the Mommy laugh and she sent this link that you gotta go check out. Now that is the kind of snow I want!!

This picture is of my dear dachsie friend, Ruby. She was the first person to send me a picture for my upcoming snow post. So my snow post will be dedicated to her. She sent me a few other pictures of her in the snow so I'll sure one of those when the Doofuss gets around to doing it. We gots so much going on right now so the Mommy said next weekend, not this weekend coming up, we will do my snow post, so you see if you want to be in my snow post, you have until DEC 20th
to e-mail them to me or give us permission to to pick one from your bloggies. Please let us know if you want to be a part of that post because we really want to showcase my friends that gots snow. I am so jealous!!
RUBY---with my kind of snow--I wish!!

The Mommy said the forecast for tonight is snow that might stick after midnight. I wants to stay up and see it but the Mommy said we will be counting sheep long before then. Oh well at least I can now say I have seen snow!!

Night...Night.......love, kisses & huggies.....Mona

Ok.... no fair! How did you get snow in Houston and we got nothing but wind in Fort Worth!

And that was some CRAZY wind that we had last night! It broke one of the hooks on our inflatable snowman so he was bouncing all around the place.

With as cold as it has been I have been hoping for snow.

Oh well! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Kisses

Hi Mona
I'm glad you got to see some snow. It is snowing as I write this. It has been for hours. I've got way more of the white stuff than I can use. How bout if I cargo jet you some. They can let the load go from the sky over your backyard.
Love Ruby

Wasn't that snow just great!!! I know I know not the real stuff but the closest we will probably ever get here in Houston.

I wished I'd gotten some pics. Maybe it will snow again soon.

Oh love that video, saw it last year and it totally cracked me up!!

Oh how exciting to have seen snow for the furst time! Very special! We're catching up the proper way this time, so I hope that in one of your newer posts, you got some snow that stuck!

Brown dog kisses,

Pee Ess The Girl wants to know if you would mind picking a snow picture off of our bloggy? We want to be part of your snow post, but The Girl is just dithering. Too many things left to do this week while she has the flu, I think. Silly to be so overwhelmed by just picking a picture, but there she is. You can use whatever picture you like best!
