HAPPY THANKSGIVING Part 2

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"The soul is the same in all living creatures, although the body of each is different."

Hi my dear friends,

Me and the Mommy just got home from our thanksgiving day spent with our great friends Chris, Tina, Emily and all their doggies. I also made a new human friend named Ashley. She thought I was so cute and when she started rubbing my belly....that was all it took!!

We can't visit long tonight because we gots to get to bed early. You know in the morning we are going to the country to visit for 3 days with Dachsie's Rule.

My hair has gotten long again and the Mommy said she isn't going to cut it for awhile. She said my hair was long enough for a Mohawk, so her she is holding me so everybody could see my hair.

Here are few pictures of all us doggies sitting around while the humans was eating. Don't worry I got my fair share of turkey.

You can see that made short order of the bird. Tina cooked it and used The Barefoot Contessa's recipe that you stuff with sage and different herbs under the skin and cook with white wine. The Mommy said it was so tender and juicy.

This was Emily's contribution to the feast, deviled eggs and she & Tina made a cheese roll with cream cheese, corn beef and green onions.....it was to die for, or so they say since us doggies didn't get any.

The Mommy's contribution was store bought pumpkin and sweet potato pie....again none for us doggies.

This is my new friend, Ashley. Sorry, I'm showing all my stuff but that girl was giving me a really good belly rub.

Ashley, Me and Gordo.

In case you don't remember everybody, I'll introduce them again.

The Mommy does know how to cook but Tina & Chris told her just to bring the most important stuff...ME. The Mommy's luncheon at work was wonderful and the Mommy was very proud of her fruit and cheese tray. Everybody just loved they way she had the tray setup and the way she made the KIWI look like flower petals.

They said her relish tray looked yummy too.

They must have been good because this was all she brought home yesterday.

It was a wonderful relaxing day. As the Mommy says "Good Friends and Good Food". Who could ask for anything more.

Hope everybody had as wonderful day as we did.
Love, kisses and huggies to all.............Mona & the Mommy too!!

PS...can you guess what I'm doing?

Happy Thanksgiving, Mona and the Mommy! It looks like you had a really great day, and then you get to go see the Dashies? Wow!

There is no turkey here today. The Girl says we celebrated Thanksgiving in October. I don't really think that's a good excuse; we can be thankful more than once a year!

Brown dog kisses,
Dannan

Wow what a fun day! Thanksgiving was fun. First went to my parents place (mom was there), it was my sis, my bf, me, my 3 dogs, my sis's dog, and our parents' dog.

Then in evening went to my bf's best friends place. They have 2 dogs (lab mixes) and 12 cats (4 kittens are fosters lol). Lots of yummy food!
